Helpful piece of hardware
I placed this in my bathroom, and mounted the unit on the side of the sink cabinet. The only issues was that there were no screws included, nor was there a pattern showing where to drill the holes for the screws. I used a piece of paper over the holes and scratched a pen over the holes to create the pattern needed, then drilled the holes. It's now mounted and is being used to plug all my devices in as needed. The benefit of having the USB power plugs hasn't been needed yet, but with the waterproofing of the device, I feel confident in its ability to be used as needed.

Good power strip.
This seems to be a well made power strip and I've had no issues with it so far. I would appreciate another foot or two cord length but that wouldn't keep me from purchasing. I have not yet tested to assure that it is, in fact, waterproof since I use this strip indoors. However, it is used in an area where liquids are present so it's just a matter of time until it has liquid spilled in or on it. We will see.

Is it fit for outdoors?
The device as a water resistant outlet box looks good. However I wanted to mount this on the side of the house outdoors to provide ac to devices I have such as diode lighting and security items. It looks like the main ac outlets would let water in then drain out the bottom. We'll the bottom becomes the back soon as it is mounted. If that is necessary then how does it drain hanging on the house? It might even hold water until the water rises enough to seep out of the drain holes or outlets. I don't know. Comments? Meanwhile the outlet box remains in it's packaging after looking it over.I do think it would work sitting on the floor and someone's drink is spilled on it.

Not as long as it says!
I love the actual component and it's great around my sink love that it has a separate shut off when not in use. Only problem is that it's not as long as it says even with box it's like 5ft at the most was a little sad because it doesn't reach where I need it to and I even measured before buying!
