Shows under garments, cute but lightweight material and very open. Thankfully only got for a cowgirl outfit but will never use them again

These shorts seem to be of quality lightweight denim and well constructed. Love the ruffle detailing which makes them almost look like a skirt. Thought these would be perfect for my girl who likes to sit however she pleases on the grass/ground to play. Unfortunately, the waistband is thick and super tight, as the elastic has very little give. The inseam is also pretty long so the waist is much higher than the natural waist - almost empire. And that's saying a lot for my daughter who is at 95% height for age. Will eventually find the time to cut off the entire waistband and make a new one. For those of you thinking, "why not just pull the elastic band out?", I tried. It seems the band was placed BEFORE the belt loops, which were sewn through the band. Still really like the concept of these pants, so for the inconvenience of having to recreate them - 2 stars,
