This was a great set. Used for skits with elementary aged kids. The jewelry was broke by the 3rd use but everything else was great.

Like many other people have said, this set comes with some small pieces that aren't great for young kids. I didn't even show my son the small jewelry or coin purse, but the sword, eyepatch and other items were great for my son's Halloween costume. He wanted me to join him and so I wore the eyepatch while he used the rest.

I had to dress up like a pirate for my daughter's preschool summer event. I didn't want to go all out and just wanted to get accessories that will go with my regular outfit to look like a pirate and this did the job. If you are looking for a simple pirate look this si what you will need.

It worked for the ren fair. Just be carefully, it rained and the red items faded and rain down onto skin and clothing.

The 'costume' wasn't much to speak of. The sword was inflatable which wasn't a bad idea for my toddler but it wouldn't stay inflated. The other stuff was very cheaply made, too cheaply really to be of any good. Save your money and order a different product.
