Awesome.These worked great helping secure my medical garden.Didn't have any low life thieves skulking around but I know they work because I set them off several times myself when I forgot about the trip wire. LOLAlso seemed to be fairly water resistant, at least . These survived several downpours and still worked.A little oil on the pin makes these work even better with less resistance when being tripped.

Decent trip wire, alarm is not super loud but noticeable. Pin holds well, doesn't just fall out but it's not hard to pull out either. Purchased to create perimeter around new landscaping (had a problem with people pulling up some bushes I planted and taking them). Of course this was not the only protective measure I took. This combined with other security features has kept my bushes in the ground where I planted them. It's a sad day when you have to protect bushes from being stolen but this has been a great deterrent. Could be louder but if you're within reasonable distance you will know it's going off. Doesn't stop alarm until pin is replaced or battery dies. Could be used as personal safety alarm as well. Has small led light that works with the press of a button, guess it could be used to see a keyhole in dark but it's not very bright and doesn't have a very wide projection so function as a normal flashlight it does not. Serves its purpose for what I needed.

This little thing literally made it through 8 months of being homeless in the forest, through rain, floods, snow, everything. Worth more than it costs, in my opinion. It kept all of the weirdos and big bad kitties out of my turf. After all it has been through.. IT STILL WORKS PERFECTLY. THE BATTERY HASN'T EVEN DIED YET.

Bought this as a bear alarm for backcountry camping. Haven’t had it triggered by a bear but have tested it myself and can confirm it’s loud enough to wake me in the night and alert us if something enters the camp.Easy enough to run the line around the area (I bought some extra lightweight tent pegs to loop it around) and stakes out the perimeter of our sites. grenade pin is stiff enough to stay in but loose enough to be activated if triggered.

After pulling plastic tab to engage the batteries, I put the trip pin back in to shut off the loud noise but it stayed on! I had to pull the batteries back out to shut the dam thing off. Very disappointed.

Grenade pin works great. Just wish it was a little louder.

It does exactly what it advertises, nothing less, nothing more. Sound is quite loud, the little bug is sensitive but tight enough not to slip off accidentally. Good product, would definitely buy again.
