Comparison
Just had LASIK surgery, and since I’ll be using a lot of eye drops over the next few months, decided to buy one of each of the recommended drops on my aftercare list. They only recommended preservative free drops, and the photo show the four brands I’ve been using.Slime factor:Optase - the slimiest (thickest)Systane Complete PF - also pretty slimeyRefresh Relieva PF - not very slimey at allThera tears - least slimey (feels like regular water)The Optase is expensive, but it works well. It does leave my cheeks with a slime residue, so I splash or wipe my face off a few times a day. That’s not necessary, but I prefer to. It doesn’t crud or anything. I think “300 doses” is a touch optimistic. I did the math and for me, it came out to closer to 200 or so.I gravitate to the Systane the most often, all said and done. It does crud my eyelashes a bit after several uses in a row, but it keeps my eyes lubricated a good long time. I found it similar to Optase with a little less slime factor. I sometimes splash off my eyes when using this one too.I like Refresh for different reasons, it feels light and clean due it’s more watery consistency. But it doesn’t keep my eyes lubricated as long, so I keep this at the ready when I do use it. I have to reapply more often.Lastly, Theratears. It doesn’t really market as PF, but in small print, the box does say it’s “preservative free in the eye.” Not sure what that means, but it was on my recommended list so I bought it. This is most like a “regular” eye drop. Feels very light and watery, and comes in a regular dropper bottle without the vacuum PF nub. Works well and I got a bigger bottle at a good price point. All in all, I like all of them for different reasons and like to vary it up day to day depending on what I’m doing. If I’m out and about with less time to reapply,I go for the Optase or Systane. When I’m lounging at home with more leeway to reapply, I go with Refresh and Theratears because it feels less gunky. Hope this helps.

So good!
I have extremely dry eyes, and have suffered for decades. I’ve seen doctors and tried every eye drop on the market from natural to extreme. Nothing has helped. I’ve been told to use warm compresses and other remedies that are difficult to fit into a day, and whose effects don’t last.I can’t say these are a miracle treatment, but they are pretty darn amazing! My eyes have never felt this good. They don’t hurt, don’t itch and blinking is easier (if you know, you know). These drops are so gentle, yet so effective. I only use them once a day! That’s amazing and I’m so grateful. They are not cheap, but the relief I feel is worth every penny, and I’ll be buying more. So glad to have found these!

They work great for extremely dry eyes, but the price is a bit too high.

GREAT PRODUCT
As someone who frequently experiences dry eyes, I recently turned to TheraTears Lubricant Eye Drops for relief, and the results have been truly impressive.First and foremost, the packaging is user-friendly. The easy-to-use squeeze bottle allows for precise control over the amount of eye drops dispensed, preventing wastage. The small size also makes it convenient to carry in a purse or pocket for quick relief on the go.The consistency of the eye drops is notably gentle and soothing. Upon application, I experienced an immediate sense of relief as the formula spread evenly across my eyes. It doesn't cause any discomfort or stinging, making it suitable for individuals with sensitive eyes.Unlike some eye drops that offer temporary relief, TheraTears seems to provide lasting hydration. This has been particularly beneficial during nights when I wake up with dry, irritated eyes – a few drops before bedtime, and I wake up with comfortable, moisturized eyes.In terms of affordability, TheraTears offers excellent value for the quality it delivers. The long-lasting relief it provides makes it a cost-effective choice compared to frequent reapplication of other less effective eye drops. In conclusion, TheraTears Lubricant Eye Drops have become a trusted companion in my journey to combat dry eyes. Its gentle, effective formula, convenient packaging, and lasting relief make it a standout product. If you're seeking a reliable solution for dry eyes, TheraTears is undoubtedly worth considering.Great product, highly recommended.

Why Pay More
I have been using a ore expensive brand than my eye doctor recommended. This works just as well for half the cost to relive my dry eyes at night.

Works for dry eyes
Last time I went to the ophthalmologist, he told me that I have dry eyes and to use any brand eyedrops for dry eyes. I use them twice a day and I have not had the sharp pains in my eyes that I had had previously. My other box of 2 are coming today.
