Product should come with instructions, but the Spyder web site has some "quick instructions" it on there which are not detailed at all. Unless you are familiar with wiring I would suggest having it professionally installed. There are seven separate sets of wiring, although not that difficult to figure out and install but the average auto guy will need most of a day to install the bumper pads and wiring. The finish on the product isn't what I expected, I think it needs a coat of clear coat. The paint job is nice, but no clear coat on the product and gets dirty very easy. I gave this product 4 stars simply because of the lack of instructions and the finish... lights works great and look nice.

The bumper ends fit well and add a great look to the front of my FJ. Do not try try to install these yourself if you are not very familiar with automotive electrical systems because there are many electrical connections and no installation instructions. They worked well after I got them installed. The down side is that they are painted to match the matte finish of the front bumper and the paint started coming off with the first washing. Under the paint is shiny black plastic.

I have read the mixed reviews and have yet to have mine installed. They came in and look fine. My only clear issue is that the large tab, clearly pictured is broken and dangling. I am going to see if my body guy can make it work before spending the extra time sending and waiting for a replacement. I'm not thrilled but I've seen worse .

I was thinking its easy to install the kit nut it come just with one paper on install instruction,And it take 3 hours to figure out,The sliver part not fit right side the bumper it let little gap.

SpyderAuto will not stand behind their product. Jose Ramirez at SpyderAuto claims the vendor is responsible for defects in finish. He, an employee of SpyderAuto is not familiar with company's warranty which is posted on the company website or the company has trained him to deflect any warranty issues. PROBLEM*** The silver finish is flaking off of the plastic housing. Just poor quality. These are probably the poorest made product, first of all it doesn't fit into the grooves correctly, leaving a 10 cm gap, then mines also came with wiring that only turns on the fog lights and a bad relay. I ended up doing my own wiring as it would of been a pain in the butt to yank the lights out.

Easy to install on bumper. But wiring harness does not make sense. Passenger light has two connectors. Drives side has three. three makes sense because there are three lights in housing. But the cables for extensions has two. there are no instructions provided. I down loaded some off the web but it is not very detailed. Also missing a spare connector mentioned.I like the lights a lot but until I figure out the wiring I'm not going to give it a high rating.

The lights are good quality. However the mounting tabs doesn't feel strong enough to hold the weight if you are doing heavy off-roading. Had to screw it to the bumper for safety.
