Amazon Basics Automatic Hands-Free Stainless Steel D-Shaped Trash Can, 70 litres, 2 Bins

In love , short and wide I’m single no kids so I see people complaining about 3 dividers ( hope you guys know it’s an option with 2 dividers ) the 3 for me is just fine the dividers give it a neat and organized disposal , very spacious and a classy look the motion sensor is not as sensitive which I like , my trash is right near the entry way I feared of battery drainage for the false movement but it’s definitely not a problem. I like this.

it is not often that i order something from amazon(made in china of course) that i am excited about.but this is the one. i actually return about 1/3 of the things i buy. this was easy to set up. owners manual in 7 languages fortunately they all have pictures so i figured it out and got it working easily. my purpose was to seperate regular garbage and food related garbage. i am able to fit each side with a large garbage bag easily. the infrared lid raises and lowers excellently. i love the motion sensitive feature. it works well, and is not too sensitive. I really hope it lasts longer than the return limit.

This can has a side for trash and recycling. I thought there may not be enough space for either but there is. It is a sleek looking trash can so you won't have to hide it and it takes up much less space than 2 separate cans.

I had a Ninestar brand of this exact trash can for about 15 years and loved it. Had to change the batteries maybe a couple of times per year. The lid electronics finally gave out so needed to replace it and decided to give this Amazon brand one a try.I received it in December and have already had to change the batteries twice. I’m very disappointed, as it takes 3 D batteries and I’m not interested in changing them once/month or more. Wish it wasn’t too late to return.

I brought the wrong can, to large for my space so I haven't used it so it's just sitting there. I really needed the smaller can. It's nice tho!

I've been using this trash can gently for about a week, and the sensor has already stopped working. It's pristinely clean, and has good batteries. The open and close buttons still work as expected. The manual only says to clean the sensor, has anyone found that there's a "manual-only" mode that we might have accidentally activated?

I use this for garbage, recycle and cans. Perfect size as the garbage gets emptied faster so it doesn’t sit long enough to create an unpleasant odor.Easy to install bags securely. I highly recommend this.

I have had this 6months and have loved it until it stopped working. I have changed the batteries, checked the power switch and nothing. Now it’s outside of the return window. Not worth the $100 for a 6 mos product!

Tengo otro bote de basura similar, la diferencia es el sensor de movimiento que hace más fácil el tirar la basura. Tener 3 compartimientos hacen que puedas separar la basura de forma fácil. La verdad super funcional, si lo recomiendo. En tamaño y diseño, me gusto mucho.

This is a great bin. It is maybe a little tricky to change the bags, and the sensor can be a bit 'Arkwright's till' if you need to scrape plates or do anything more than just chuck something into it, but the hands-free feature is useful It's quite large, so measure the space you want to put it in, but otherwise don't hesitate - it's as good as far more expensive ones.
