Big Book of Crosswords 7: 300 quick crossword puzzles

I paid £6.99 for this book of 300 quick crossword puzzles. I was very disapointed when it arrived with a reduction sticker on the front cover. This reduction was from the RRP £6.99 to only £2.50. I have been charged the full £6.99. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth to have been "overcharged" in this way.I would have rated this product much higher were it not for the pricing problem

Item arrived on time & as described, except for the 'The Works' price sticker as shown in the photo here, stating it had been reduced to £2.50 by The Works, acquired presumably at that price or less by Amazon, making the £5.94 I just paid for it seem a little excessive!! Clumsy to say the least, but perhaps this is how the funds for new yacht are acquired!

Only 2 stars even though there was nothing wrong with the book. The reason is because I was charged £5.94 for it but it arrived with a bookstore sticky label on that said: 'Huge savings. £2.50'.

Pleased with this book of crosswords. Most suitable for filling odd moments between knitting and reading for elderly such as myself who like to keep occupied
