Very smooth and doesn't skip. Nice portable case so that I can take it with me anywhere. Does have the name of the color on the pen itself.

Awesome pen set. All you could ask for!
Love these pens! Every color you could want, glitter, metallic and pastel. Write smooth and easy. Works great in a planner to keep color coded. I haven't tried but they are slim enough to fit in my cricut machine. I really like the case/storage that it come with. It keeps everything safe and organized!
