Pink Himalayan Salt Capsules 540 Caps (850 mg) Keto Diet Electrolyte

I follow a ketogenic diet which causes me to deplete sodium. I don't really like the taste of salt (I have more of a sweet tooth) so I don't use very much of it on my food, and drinking salty water makes me queasy even if flavored with something like Mio - I don't like Gatorade, either. These capsules make it easy for me to get the necessary sodium to avoid "keto flu", my doctor says that's a minimum of 3000mg per day. Each one of these capsules contains 850mg salt, which contains approximately 340mg of sodium. I take one with each meal and one before I work out, and my food tracking app says I am getting enough sodium between that and the salt in my food. If I eat something with a lot of sodium like a stir-fry with soy sauce, I skip the salt capsule for that meal. My blood pressure has not raised from the additional sodium, although I also take supplemental potassium and magnesium to balance the sodium.

I started on the keto program 7 weeks ago and within a week or so was hamstrung with horrible gluteal muscle cramps that nearly incapacitated me. So some times that I had a hard time walking and would awake me at night to hobble to the kitchen to have a double chicken bouillon or an electrolyte drink...or both. Thirty minutes to an hour later the pain would subside.After taking this wonder product for 4 days now I’m most happy to say that not once have I cramped. Unreal. Thea capsules were recommended by my husband’s neurologist for his neurocardio syncope as a supplement to the meds he already takes for it. And they have helped greatly. The only issue is they take forever to arrive when I’ve ordered them. So I order well in advance of his running out now.

Ok product, but it’s been 15 days and now just notified it may take another week before my PAID shipment arrives. I could have driven to Florida and back by now! No thank you. Other companies will now get my business!

This shipped to me way faster than predicted, which I appreciate! These are perfect to take for my fasting days when I need to make sure I get plenty of high quality salt. Of course it would cheaper to buy your own capsules and do it yourself, but paying extra for the convenience is super worth it! Highly recommend.

I am not sure what happened, but I have purchased these before and there was no problem. The last bag we received gave 5 of us nausea and vomiting, different family members, different times, different households. The vomiting was consistent in all of us. Even my father in law and he has the stomach of a billy goat. I don't understand why this happened with this batch. I had to throw them out. We are now making our own capsules with gray celtic salt and are having no problems. Sorry, because this was such a convenient option, but we can't be throwing-up every time we take them.

Update.The large crystal pink salt capsules have been replaced with fine powder. Not sure if it is the same company or a knock off. Looks like cheaper stuff now.Old review:I don't like drinking salt water. I don't like the processed sodium chloride, so this is the best and only option I have found. It is also vegan.
