I'm very happy with this hook. I purchased it because my apartment doesn't have hooks in all the places that I want them, like the bedroom, and I really wanted something that looked nice. I've tried other versions of this kind of hook - plastic and metal, and they never seemed very sturdy. I saw this option and I figured it couldn't hurt to try.I really like the weight and the design of this hook. It feels sturdy and it seems to be solid metal. I also like how it sits well on the door - it doesn't shift or tip forward, even with clothes on it. One of my concerns was that it would move around and scratch the paint, but it hasn't so far, and I open and close the particular door a lot. The "over the door" part is thin enough to fit between the door and the jamb, which is key to minimizing damage to the wood or the paint. The long part of the hook that rests against the door has some kind of rubber (?) padding so that it a) doesn't move and b) doesn't damage the paint.I've paid the same or more for a similar adhesive hook, that didn't end up holding as much as I would like, and I was always nervous that it would ruin the paint. Not ideal when you want your rental deposit back! I will definitely buy a few more of these for other doors in my apartment!

I've been looking for a storage solution for my purses in our bedroom. I've tried a few over-the-door hooks from the store, but they were always too thick and would jam against the door and the framing. I love that these hooks are not only thin enough to not damage our door frames, but they also look so stylish! The only thing I wish could be improved is the depth of the knob itself. It sometimes seems like my purses are going to fall off, even with only one on there. That being said, I was able to successfully hang two bags on it! I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for some extra storage space!

Great, simple over the door hook. Perfect for hanging ONE item.I used this hook on the door of the water closet in the master bath. That way my robe is kept in a handy spot for me to grab it on the way out of the bathroom after baths and such.the hook is sturdy and would easily hold a heavy coat or purse.The over-the-door part is completely flat and won't interfere with the door frame or keep the door closing in any way.

This is a simple, basic over the door hook. The stainless steel material goes with all kinds of decor. It easily hangs over the door with an almost perfect fit. This looks much better than the plastic over the door hook I had in my bathroom. The hook is sturdy and supports the weight of a heavy robe or damp bath towel. There's a hole in the top where it looks like you could add a screw for extra support, but I haven't found that to be necessary.

So easy to use and so much better looking than my green Christmas wreath hanger. If fit perfectly over my door and stays snugly on when opening and closing the door. I have a pretty heavy decorative wreath on it right now and I love that it does not seem like it is going to fall off. The finish of this hook is my favorite part, it looks so nice. I would highly recommend this hook to anyone looking for an EASY way to hang something. It is super durable and seems to be of great quality.

Love the look of this over the doormhook. It's attractive and sturdy. The back has a nice soft finish so it doesn't damage the surface it's hanging against, which I like because I always switch up where I want it. If you are not decisive than I am, there is a place to further secure the hook with a nail or screw, but I find it to sit flush against our doors and be very secure even without that.

I hesitated about spending the money because part of the hook would be covered up by my robe, but I'm glad I did. The part that shows where it goes over the door is very good looking. The top hook is slender enough that I don't have any trouble closing the door.

Great over the for hook! Stays in place, sturdy, and even pretty! Hung this in my bathroom for accessories, towels and such. It works really well. I especially love that it didn't slide easily, and it doesn't scratch the surface it is hanging on. love this product!
