My daughter LOVED this weighted lap pad. I have been looking for one for 2 years now and I was hesitant about ordering one online. It was recommended by my children's Occupational therapist (they have Autism and SPD). As soon as I took it out of the box, I was very impressed. I just wish there were more pattern options for girls. I ordered the puppy one, and the next day I saw there was a Pink Panda bear blanket. My little girl is obsessed with hot pink and I would have preferred to bought that one, but we settled on the cute red one with puppies on them. I need to purchase one for my son, as he tried it out and now wants one. I belong to Autism and SPD Facebook groups and I will DEFINITELY spread the word that ReachTherapy Solutions is the go to for weighted lap pads!

i'm fortunate to only have to endure normal adult daily stress of life. this little lap blanket is amazingly relaxing. to use over my shoulders when typing on computer. on my lap when i'm typing. on my legs resting in bed or watching a movie. who would imagine 5# could be that calming to the nervous system. so these aren't just for kids~it works great for everyone!

We use this on our Vizsla who is overly anxious. It helps her sleep at night and calms her down

I cannot tell you how comforting and adorable this lap pad is! Well constructed, you can tell it won't wear out quickly. I am more than pleased and would recommend to anyone with children who have sensory issues, and also people who just feel like they need a hug.
