This is the one you want
Had another belt that snapped into the existing seat belt clasp. Dog would step on it and detach the belt, then join me in the front seat making driving dangerous. One sudden stop he was thrown around and bumped the gear shift into neutral. Had to find alternative. This fastens with a carabiner on the frame and holds securely. Also the swivel clasp prevents the dog from getting tangled up when he moves around. (I attach it to a harness, not a collar.) Perfect.

Great product, and dog proof
Wanted something to secure dog(s), especially in convertible. They have a tendency to chew through anything other than cable, and ones that clip into the seat belt clip get pulled out by bending the clip and then unable to useThese fit securely and am able to fasten around the car seat base and feel more comfortable they are securely anchored to the car!Reasonable price, small storage, dog-proof. These are just what I wanted!

Safety for my dog found here.
Great product. If you even think your dog may chew it, buy this one and don’t waste your money on the cloth one because my dog chewed through the cloth one in two tries and wasted my money. I didn’t realize this one was available, or I would have likely bought it first. Very strong. My 95 pound dog isn’t going anywhere with this hooked to his harness. Worth the money, no doubt!

You get what you pay for
The item is as described. It's one of the better designs of this type found on Amazon. That being said, the clips are pretty cheap looking and I am concerned they would fail under any significant force (ie an accident).

good for Bluetick Coonhound
I had to get locking caribeaner instead of the one that is attached. My dog was just too smart and knows how to unclip the non locking ones. but other than that it has not broken yet.

Product works great but getting attached to bolt was a pain
This strap works great but but getting it initially attached is a huge pain in the neck otherwise it would be 5 stars

the pups could still move around enough to lay comfortably, or put their nose to the center armrest ...
Much easier to install in the back seat of my truck and attach to my dogs’ (three 65# ‘kids’) harnesses than the other products I have. I thought they were a little short, but when clipped onto the harness, the pups could still move around enough to lay comfortably, or put their nose to the center armrest for a head scratch.
