Sitting Around Doing Nothing? Why Not Drill?
I like the concept of this dry fire training equipment. I had to borrow my friend's idryfire laser since this system does not come with the laser that fits into the chamber of your firearm. It was relatively easy to setup and learn on my android phone. While watching TV in the living room, I've been practicing and it's is fun. After a few months of practicing, I do notice that my natural point of aim has improved. If you're looking to get this training system, you will want to go to the Idryfire website to order the laser for your firearm. The laser is required. I am satisfied overall with this product.

Does not come with dry fire bullet, please be aware
This came with everything, but the bullet. Everything looks like it’ll work very well, but as I haven’t been able to get the bullet for my gun. I can’t fully review it. Aside from that everything does look well put together, and the instructions seem to show that it will be easy enough to use.

not to happy
this target has an app to download and is easy to set up but when it comes time to pair it to my phone or tablet it is just to finicky to maintain its position. at a range over 5-10 feet shot recognition is very poor. it does come in a nice case and accessories but that’s not why i purchased it.

Wow Did this teach me a thing or two!
While I had been doing some dry fire training at home this has given me specific parameters to judge accuracy and improvement. My draw times are lousy and the time between discharges very long and target accuracy is weak . . . but I'll be able to tell if I'm improving! And, if I actually do greatly improve I understand that I can purchase and integrate a second target so this has room to improve with me.

Could Be Improved
The app seems to function well, and in spite of vague instructions on some things, the setup of the kit is fairly easy, and it registers laser hits. I don't yet have a dryfire cartridge, so had to test it with the (red) Lasermax sight on a Ruger LCP (more on that later, as an issue I hadn't anticipated before acquiring this setup..see item 4, below). Everything packs into a nice zipup case. There are still several shortfalls and issues that could be improved. 1) The stand is too small and unstable to hold the phone/lens target setup securely, especially since you have to employ your phone's touch screen during use. I really don't know why this kit couldn't be larger; can't imagine too many user scenarios where being highly compact would be much of a benefit. Most people will be using this at home, or could easily transport a somewhat larger setup to another location. A cell phone holder for car use, where the phone is clamped in place and the base can be held by clamp or suction cup would serve better. That's what I'm going to use. 2) Most of the target openings are too small for the intended use of this system. Since this is meant for quick reaction personal defense training, rather than target shooting, a torso-sized, or center mass area of maybe six inches diameter or so would make more sense. There are some online videos suggesting that a functional larger target can be fabricated by a user. 3) The clamp that attaches the target to the phone doesn't play well with a phone in a protective case, because of the projecting rim. You'll need to remove the case or dedicate an otherwise unused phone to this. I'm going to use an old one I kept when I got my most recent phone. 4) If you use a pistol with a laser dot sight, that target acquisition will trigger the system the same as the laser from your practice cartridge. I don't know if there's any way around this, so this system just may not work in that case. I suppose you could train with the pistol's laser off, get proficient with your quick reaction and aim, and just depend on the laser sight for backup/confirmation in real life situations.
