If you’re on the fence about this mount, just buy it. I bought it a while ago for my truck because the mounts I had before it continuously failed to hold or broke. A few months ago I totaled that truck, but throughout the entire accident my phone stayed firmly secured to my windshield. It now sits in my new truck.It holds firmly, without any intricate tricks to place or remove your phone. It is versatile, easy to adjust, and modular as you can buy different extensions or attachments from the company should you decide to mount a different device or mount in a different location.My only complaint is that on a hot day, the suction cup attachment for the mount will, on rare occasion, fall out of the windshield while putting my phone into it as the temperature change effects the density of the air facilitating the suction. But it is quick and easy to stick back up.

Sturdy piece of kit and holds the phone securely. Not sure if it would be any good on long trips with your phone as a GPS as there is no vibration damper with the kit.

Best phone mount I have ever owned. I off-road a lot, and the magnetic mounts would drop my phone and even broke the charging port. Fits my iPhone XS in an otterbox without problem. Lots of adjustability for all different sizes of phone.

My phone kept dropping out of the X-grip when mounted more upright and hitting hard bumps. I now have this mount and I love the spring action and the security of my phone not being dropped on the road as I ride now.
