It's not often that I leave reviews but I felt that I had to for this item. This looked really good on the website and when it arrived I was really impressed. It is spectacular! Just the thing to put my sadly recently departed wife's ashes in and display next to a photo of her. I hadn't realised that it closely resembles a bird's head, or even a dolphin, both of which she liked. Everybody that has seen ot so far has said that I picked exactly the right thing.Dave Thornton

We wanted a nice urn for my late sister-in-laws ashes and this was perfect. She now sits on our fire place.It is quite heavy (more so when ashes are added) i am less worried about it being accidentally knocked over due to the weight.One negative is it didnt fit all of the ashes (adult female) but most of them.There is a screw like cap to open it which i believe is metal (this is on the bottom so can't be seen)Overall we are pleased with this urn.

As I don't like traditional ones, I chose this teardrop-shaped model, for me it's modern, simple and easy to look at, it blends well with the decor.exactly how I wanted.One negative thing is that the opening at the base is quite small, not wide enough, it was not possible to put the original bag inside, I had to put an empty one inside and turn the contents over.something I wasn't expecting to do.Quality is good...I can't say it was cheap, but it was worth it and is a very beautiful piece.

Beautiful urn but when I put my son ashes in there is quite alot left over. Thankfully he is going to his partner and children aswell so I'm not left wondering what to do with him.(why only 4 stars )
