Fun
Good fun for 5 and 8 year old. Colours very subdued. I'm sure raptors had more colours. Not quite the same as Ker Plunk as even 5 year old carefully replaces raptors by hanging them on sticks like monkeys. Will keep coming out to play so long as not dropped on floor. The plastic seems quite brittle and fragile..

Modern twist on a classic game
I remember having a similar game many moons ago so when I saw this I thought I would order it for my nephew who is really into Jurassic park at the minute- and we’ve definitely had fun with it since. It’s a great (non-electronic) game for children 6+ with the aim of the game being to not let the raptors fall as the player with the least wins. Now my nephew decided it was the player with the most raptors that won- which was fine to switch it up a bit.The game also features a special beta raptor who has her own rule! But I won’t ruin what that is within this review ( I will say this was my nephews favourite bit).It contains stickers and signs which are the same signs that are in the movie, which I feel was a really nice touch. All in all it comes with 30 sticks and 30 raptors. It’s a great way to practice patience, concentration and fine motor skills. Equally good for forward thinking and problem solving skills.Very easy to set up in fact my 7 year old nephew did it all. Can have up to 4 players so a nice game for multiple family members to get stuck in too.The only constructive criticism that I have is I wish it had maybe 1/2 extra sticks as we all know with games like this some parts with inevitably go missing.Priced at £30 is high for this type of game, but you are paying for the brand and especially whilst the movie is out I imagine this price tag will stay. However it is great game that I would be happy to recommend.

Excellent fun tumbling raptor game
This is a super fun twist on a classic game format that has new theming to keep it fresh and it really is a great game for kids of many ages. So to me this style of game will always be compared to Ker-plunk which I’m not sure if it is still being made, but this is actually made by the creators of tumbling monkeys which this is incredibly derivative of, the monkeys have just been replaced with little plastic raptors, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The pierces are all pretty well made, it is what I expect from this style of game, the raptors are fine, some have slight blemishes and the sculpting isn’t great, it would also be nice to see a bit of different colour paint on them for detailing. The game is easy to set up, and play, we have actually been playing with our son who is three and he really enjoys pulling out the sticks and seeing the raptors fall, it is working well to help teach him about taking turns and how a game like this is structured. Overall it is great fun, especially if the adults get competitive! The price is quite high, but honestly board games have shot up in price recently and I don’t think the price which at the time of writing is £30, is unreasonable.
