It's good - just careful not to chew on them
I sometimes like to place these in the mouth and just soak up their flavor. They're delicious actually. Just don't be too eager to bite into them, at least not until softened up a lot, which takes a while. You might lose a tooth...

Delicious
Absolutely delicious! My concern is that the buckwheat pellets look manufactured. It looks nothing like my other buckwheat tea. I tried to google the company but couldn’t find anything on the company, nor could I find any certification for organic status. These things make me concerned but I’ll tell you, it’s delicious.

Very disappointed
This tea is a complete waste of money. There is no flavor. I am a regular consumer of buckwheat tea (sobacha) and this is no where near a tea classified as this.

Very tasty tea
Wonderful tea! It has a delicate aroma, it looks like delicious shortbread cookies to me. It does not contain caffeine. Completely natural!

Nice aroma and flavor. Seems like it may be an acquired taste.
Reviewing: "MYATA Premium Organic Buckwheat Tea - Loose Roasted Tartary Buckwheat Groats - Sweet & Nutty Flavor, Notes of Vanilla - Enjoy Hot or Iced - Premium Natural, Memil Kuqiao-Cha Tea From Taiwan - 10.5oz, 300g"I can't remember if I have ever had buckwheat tea before trying this. It looked and sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a try.I used purified (bottled) water and followed the instructions exactly. It says to use 1 tablespoon of the buckwheat to 8 oz of water heated to 203° F, and to let it steep for 5 minutes. The finished tea does have a bit of a "nutty" flavor, but it actually reminded me more of buttered toast. As it cooled off, it lost the buttery flavor. And it may be just my taste buds, but the flavor never once reminded me of vanilla. It didn't taste bad while it cooled off, it just tasted better while it was hot.The aroma (smell) is also pleasant, even if interesting. It smells good, like something that has been roasted or toasted. But I'm not sure I can think of something to compare it to.The hot beverage was somewhat soothing to drink, and savor, but it seemed to lose its appeal as it cooled off.I read somewhere that buckwheat kernels are edible, although, that may be a personal preference. The piece I read mentioned that one could eat the spent buckwheat at the end of the drink if one wanted to. So, I went ahead and chewed a few of the grains after drinking the cup, just to sample them. While they weren't awful, they were mostly flavorless and gritty. Not my preference, but some people may like it. I suppose you could also save the steeped grains to add to a smoothie and blend them up, but I don't know how much fiber it would add. (I wouldn't save them longer than a few hours at most.)The buckwheat comes in a clear plastic tub with a pull-off metal top, which unfortunately did not open properly, so I had to use a spoon to pry it off. That isn't a dealbreaker, but you might want to know in advance. As a side note, I am not sure what the benefit is of the clear tub, since light can break down delicate flavors. I suppose if you keep it in a dark place, it would keep alright, but I wouldn't store it where the sun can shine on it.Since this is the first buckwheat tea that I have a memory of sampling, I'm unable to give it a comparison with any other buckwheat tea. Overall, I am glad I got to try this. While I don't think I would re-order it for myself, I would consider buying it as a gift for someone else if I knew that they liked buckwheat tea.Lastly, I'm not sure how many cups you can get from this container, but I would estimate it to be somewhere between 20-30, depending how strong or weak you make it. That's just my best guess, though.

Best tasting tea
I love buckwheat tea, and I tried most of the teas on Amazon. This one is definitely the best tasting, quality tea.
