While this might fall into the "I don't really need it" department, its price, quality and appearance says you gotta have it. What real American does not like edge implements? This thing is just far too cool to ignore. I can easily see this being very handy to have around the campsite or hiking trail. It's solid and very well made, but is not overly heavy or cumbersome. The blade arrived coated in oil and extremely sharp. The workmanship is definitely first rate. The spike is robust and comes to a strong point that should penetrate effortlessly. The handle is comfortable but a little slick. This is easily remedied by adding some Range Bands or paracord. The articulated sheath is definitely a stroke of genius. It's super easy to remove and install. There are no negative aspects that I can see, and the price is definitely a home run. For less than the price of a mediocre dinner for two, this axe is a true bargain. It will also easily dispatch any fire-breathing dragons or zombies that try and have you as their lunch. This is certainly a very cool item, and is well worth the small investment.

I bought this Cold Steel tomahawk as a companion to my Cold Steel Vietnam Special Forces tomahawk and Cold Steel Pipe Hawk. I couldn't be happier and it is well worth the money. It's very sturdy built and the workmanship (fit and finish) is also excellent. There's guys who sell custom made versions of these for hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't bother doing any of that and just get one of these. Unless you are the type of person to wreck a anvil with a feather or blowup a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel you aren't going to hurt this tomahawk. Great buy!!

Very fine Tool that is a Beast of a Tool it's heavily designed and constructed from heavy duty materials it would be a great choice for those that need the extra strength and durability this is military grade and would serve well in any areas that require such a Tool. Come sharp and piled up.. excellent tactical hatchet. Protective cover looks cool and is well made. You may want to get some tape to make it easier to hold as the handle can get slippery. I recommend you carry a hex key wrench to tighten the two bolts that can come loose after prolonged use. Also note, I recommend you tighten these hex bolts prior to using first use. When I receive my order, the bolts were not tightened enough.

First off, the seller (non-amazon) sent it in a box larger than needed and it clearly slid around. The Secure-Ex sheethe had wear from the blade sliding. Cold Steel made a solid tomahawk. I went and chopped a 12" tree in my sideyard for 2-3 minutes straight to get the feel for it. Pros- Badass sheethe Blade, spike, and tang are thick steel. Clear quality control Replaceable handle Throwable Priced lower than some knives Cons- Bit underbalanced, might do well with a custom handle Fasteners to tang and handle seem to loosen after use. Handle doesn't have great grip and ergonomics Make a custom, balanced, ergonomic gripped handle and this'll be a $100 tomahawk.

I bought this to throw at multiple targets. The handle grip is solid without the need for gloves, no slip. It throws true. The blade is SHARP. I love this so much Im buying more and keeping one in my car at all times Ill take the bear in the woods over the man in the woods EVERY single time. ladies..get yourself a throwing axe and learn to USE it!

Excellent product. Feels durable

Tacticool, practical, and efficient. Compared to other options available on Amazon, this was the best choice by far, mainly due to its durability and, the sheath. Screw that nylon, this sheath is solid, made from 3 pieces of a kydex-ish plastic held together by metal pins. The axe itself is weighted heavy to the head with that plastic handle, but they sell replacement handles for cheap too. I added two sections of leather grip, one for mid position and another for a full choke. This is a combat axe. Dont intend to use it for heavy bushcraft. It'll do that, but it's meant for violence against living things, see the unsharpened spike for reference. You couldn't ask for better next to your bed if a piece isn't available and there is someone coming at you. Even with the sheath on, swing away, Ricky, swing away

El envió y el embalaje fueron perfectos y llegó a mi en excelentes condiciones, es un hacha liviana y de sostiene con una mano, es bastante firme y resiste bien los golpes, lo único es que agregue un pequeño nudo con paracord para colgarla a alguna mochila y para poder columpiar el hacha a una mano pues el mango es un poco resbaladizo aunque su largo es bueno y su composición muy sólida, trae filo suficiente pero una buena pasada con afilador la deja que da miedo, yo tenía dudas y al recibirla decidí comprar otra en color negro, el seguro que la cubre es de muy buena calidad, quizás haya algunas más solidad pero por este precio es calidad muy alta, opinión simple 95/100

Ein nettes Beil mit schicker Optik das einen wertigen Eindruck vermittelt. Der Griff, der Kopf und die scheide sehen in Ordnung aus. Der Griff ist Verbesserungswürdig da man eine gummierte oder profilierte Griffstelle einarbeiten könnte, dennoch liegt das Tomahawk gut in der Hand. Der Beilkopf könnte etwas größer sein für mein Geschmack somit wäre auch das Gewicht etwas höher. Was ebenfalls gut wäre, wäre wenn der Metalstiel des Kopf etwas länger wäre und noch eine zusätzliche Verschraubung zur Befestigung da wäre, da es doch Recht kurz geworden ist. In allem ein gutes Produkt das Spaß macht und funktioniert zum Holzspalten würde ich was anderes nehmen aber es macht dennoch mega bock und man kann damit alles machen. Schnitzen, hacken, spalten klappt gut genau wie das befestigen am Rucksack.
