Avoid these as you are wasting your time. Qr code goes to a Chinese website of something with a car door off a 20 year old car with no relevance to the product. Main issue is there is no way how to connect the fibre light tube to the power. Terrible product. Don't buy it.

I'm leaving my first review below because I did have a major problem with my original unit as you can see in the video that I posted. I reached out to the seller and they were very responsive, we exchanged several messages as they attempted to troubleshoot the issue that I was having. After some testing, it was determined that the best course of action was to send me a new unit, which I installed, and now the lights work properly. I have nothing but good things to say about the communication that I received from the seller and accept the fact that electronics sometimes fail and this seller stepped up and sent me a new unit without hesitation. Great customer service! I have since changed my 1 Star review to a 4-star review. As I stated in my original review the application still needs to be addressed and I can't give a 5-star review because my first unit was defective. In summary, I think the lights work as described in the listing, the application interface and the app instructions leave a lot to be desired, and the customer service is top-notch!I purchased this lighting system to go in the back of my truck that I use for camping. When turned on, I'd like the lights to remain a constant red color. I do NOT want the lights to change colors or pulse/flash to sound. In the video that I have attached, you can see that when I use the remote control to turn on the lights and select the color "red" the lights will remain red until there is a break in the sounds. Once the noise resumes the lights will begin to pulse/flash and change colors. In the video, I also show the use of the phone application to control the lights, and when I select the color red, the same thing happens, the second there is a change in the sound, the lights will immediately change from red to flashing multicolor. I've spent a considerable amount of time trying all of the buttons and combinations of buttons on the remote control and on the application with no success.After trying everything that I could think of, I sent my question to the seller, and here is what I received back --->"How do I select one constant color (red) and not pulse or change colors to sound? Currently, anytime it hears any sound it pulses and changes color.Answer:Hello.You may have selected the music mode, which is why the light will change color if there is sound. You can click the remote control "red" button can make the light fixed red does not change. Hongshi-US Seller · October 20, 2022"This is not a helpful response; it is short and lacks detailed instructions on how to not be in "music mode" if that is in fact the problem. As you can see in my video, I did push the red button on the remote control (as the seller recommended) and the lights did change to red, but only as long as the ambient sound did not change. The moment there is a change in sound, the lights go back to pulsing and changing colors. This is very frustrating – I just want a solid red color.Regarding installation, it did take time, but I didn't find it to be overly difficult and despite the lack of instructions I was able to figure it out. Regarding quality, I would consider the system to be of average quality for a cheap Chinese-built product and think that it is suitable for average-use environments.The biggest downside to this product is the fact that the instructions are essentially non-existent (which others have mentioned in their reviews), and the application and remote control are absolute trash. If the seller is able/willing to show me EXACTLY how to control the lights with either the remote or the application I will gladly change my rating, but as of now I can not endorse this product and wish that I had purchased anything else.

Absolutely love these however it would be awesome if you could control the feet lights separately to dim them down and let the fiber optic strips truly shine. I feel like my whole car being lit up doesn’t let them get the attention they deserve.

So I just got around to installing this on the dash of my Honda Passport and also under the foot well. Looks good so far and plenty bright for me. The ends are a little brighter but nothing major. I was hoping it was a little slimmer because the tube is a little on the bulky side. Music version doesn't work like I thought. I thought it would dance to the music but just act like strobe lights. And I wish there was a dining dimming feature or a design when it turns on or off. But overall good for the price and easy to install. App works fine just wish there were more features

Most Critical- Plastic Box housing that holds the electronics feels really cheap. It's plastic, it is already cheap, could it be a little more durable for being in a vehicle?- The (Diode) where the Fiber Optic inserts into the rubber grommet... The grommet needs to be tighter, the tape that is included have fun and good luck. You will need silicone based glue to really hold it... I suggest loctite extreme glue worked like a charm.Now moving on to some of the things I was pleasantly surprised with, the diodes were surprisingly bright, had nearly identical color, and identical brightness. Usually on cheaper lights you do not get the same LED so sometimes the color and lumens varies ever so slightly from one another.The remote is pretty snappy for what it is, I choose not to use the app.Other reviewers have mentioned bubbles in the fiber optic.... I haven't noticed a lot of it in my set. There is a few little spots but nothing to squawk about.The more bends you have will reduce the overall brightness on each little "branch" On my dashboard in the 2020 Camry I only used one diode.... you could use two one on each end to brighten around the bends if you'd like.For 50 bucks, this little ambient light kit is decent for the money. They are a few quirks that needs to be addressed. However, I'm pretty satisfied with it after installation and dropping a few F Bombs while installing it. Experiment and have fun with it.... Good buy if you are not wanting to spend 200 bucks on the higher priced equivalent.
