This durian actually contains the weight that it claims to have. Another brand of durian I got earlier, only had about half the claimed weight, so I was grateful to get honest weight this time. And, it tastes authentic. The actual flavor of the fruit comes through, it's more than just sweetness.

Tasted great and a good alternative to the frozen durian. Took away 1 star because it's not as creamy as fresh or frozen durian. Just a personal preference. Packages aren't as big as it may seem . Will definitely buy again. Note: their packaging did change it's in a yellow bag now.

Durian tastes like vomit flavored custard, and this product delivered. Those complaining about texture or taste don't understand what freeze dried means.

I enjoy the flavor and texture of freeze dried durian. Once I open a packet, I can't stop until I've eaten it all. I know some people are put off by it, but to me it just tastes like a ripe on the vine cantaloupe, with some added buttery or creaminess. Like a cantaloupe flavored cream cheese maybe.

Waited with anticipation for "The King of Fruits", and was 100% disappointed when it arrived. I know what "freeze dried' means, and this is the only thing that describes this drian. No taste at all. Not sweet or tart or any taste at all. It had to be me! Asked my wife, and she aggred. No taste whatsoever, at all. Like drinking freeze dried water.!

I bought this because I simply cannot afford to have a frozen durian delivered to me from out of state right now. Delicious snack. Described as sort of nutty. Best in a smoothie. Almost everyone liked it, so I assume the taste and smells are not as pungent as fresh durian. Enjoy!
