My two 8 year old girls love these things. They call them “burritos.” They asked for them in second grade when they began writing much more in class and their fingers began hurting. These definitely help comfort their fingers. This bulk container was great because they handed them out to classmates who had sore fingers too. If anything, there’s too many!

Good pencil grips, but when cut in half, these make GREAT thumbrest cushions for oboes and clarinets! What’s hilarious is that there is actually a company marketing these as “fancy thumbrests” at a much higher price.

I have not found it useful as a pencil grip because it's not a stable enough grip. As the little pieces move around, so does the kid's fingers. But...some of my sensory kids love this as a proprioceptive activity! They put them over their fingers and then complete activities. The sensory input gives them a calming sensation and increased body awareness as they complete the activity.

This is small and able to be kept in a pocket. It is a good fidget ty for an adult to be able to use under a table so it is not noticeable.

I had to buy more of these. I use them to identify various markers. They have such a nice soft feel, and the bright colors make them easy to find and identify. They're stretchy enough to fit over markers easily and stay put. They won't ever fall off.

Some of the other reviews about the poor packaging are correct but the worst part is that the odor of these is just awful. Washing in water and even rubbing alcohol did not help with it. They went into the trash. Save your money pick something else.

They’re as sturdy as I could hope for and the kids flip them inside out to make the ‘hairs’ fill the inside of the cylinder, which keeps them cleaner. Very few of my kids use them as grippers because they get sticky and dirty pretty quickly, but that is exactly how this material behaves in any other product. Hairs do pull off, but we’re surprisingly resilient.
