JL Audio CS112LG-TW1-2 Single 12TW1 Enclosed Sealed Subwoofer

To be clear, I didn’t buy from Amazon. I purchased the JL AUDIO CP110LG-TW1-2 10” from another seller but was sent this unit instead. I still don’t know if it was sent by mistake or not. I decided to connect to my system. I needed a slimmer box to save space in my 4th gen 4Runner. I was running a JL 12” in a port box that was just kicking bass but it was too bulky. There are many good reviews for the JL CP110 but not on this one. I had a chance to listen to this unit all day so this is my opinion. This unit doesn’t kick low bass due to the shallow woofer. There is just not enough air. The bass hit is not deep. It is a sealed small box with a 12 inches woofer. If listening to rock or easy listening music, there is enough low to make the system more enjoyable. If listening to rap music, this isn’t the box for you. I might keep it because it saves a lot of space but I am not loving it. I didn’t get the CP110 I ordered so I didn’t get to listen to it. It is ported 10 inches, so it might give out deeper bass than this non-ported 12 inches box. Want to like it but can’t. Disappointing since it is actually more expensive than the CP110 by a hundred dollars.
