These fit the vehicle and were made of a good quality. My husband says they last until the next oil change.

Genuine OEM From Northern Lights Auto Supply
I waited until I removed and replaced the filter to write this review so I could see how the filter held up. The filter looks authentic to my eyes and the vendors was very responsive to my questions. It does what it needs to do at a great price point. Can recommend.

Inexpensive OEM oil filter elements for your Toyota vehicle; make sure you have all the tools you need before changing the oil
Before you buy this, make sure the filter element is the correct model number for your vehicle. If you're not sure what OEM filter element to use for your Toyota or Scion, refer to this chart: (...)Great price for oil filter elements. I do all the oil changes on our cars, and when I bought the 10 pack of filters, it was the best price I could find for these (about $1.25 per filter at the time). I change the oil on my wife's RAV4 about every 5,000 miles, and while it took a little getting used to a vehicle with a permanent filter housing after years of changing spin-on canisters, it's not difficult, just different. Each box comes with a filter element, two rubber o-rings (make sure you lubricate BOTH with clean engine oil before putting them in the housing), and a plastic clip-in drain for the filter housing. If you've never changed the oil for a vehicle with a permanent filter housing, it's important to note that once you've drained the oil from the oil pan, you also need to drain any that remains in the filter housing, or you're going to make a huge mess once you've unscrewed the filter housing. That's what the clear plastic piece is for, and it snaps into place on the bottom of the housing once you've removed the screw-in cover plate. Just be advised that once you push in the plastic drain, oil is going to come out, so make sure you've got something to catch the oil. Here's a helpful video of how to do this using an empty glass bottle: (...)If you're buying these for a new car, make sure you also have some extra drain plug gaskets handy, as well as an oil filter socket wrench that fits the filter housing for your particular vehicle (if you don't have this last one, you're gonna have a hell of a time removing and replacing the filter housing). If you have a 2006-2012 RAV4, it needs a 64mm socket wrench with 14 flats, such as the Assenmacher TOY 640, which can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/Assenmacher-Specialty-Tools-TOY-640/dp/B0015PK3AG
