Closest thing to the show I've read in Doctor Who comics.
This was my favorite of the 10th Doctor Graphic Novels that came out of Doctor Who Weekly. Compared to the previous two volumes, this one has the greatest variety of artists while at the same time having the most consistent and extensive storyline. It's the closest to an actual season that these volumes have gotten. I give a lot of the credit to writer (and sometimes artist) Dan McDaid who oversees and writes most of the stories. What made me even happier was that his Tennant-esque dialog was the closest I've read to the actual show. I liked this volume a lot and it doesn't require knowledge of the previous two volumes to enjoy. It stands on its own perfectly. And for those of us that still Miss Tennant, this was a perfect surprise.

A Stellar Run of Comics
The Crimson Hand, a stellar time for the Doctor Who Magazine comic that really brought out the inventive/creative spirit of the comic team, almost as stellar as (or more so than?) the Child of Time arc. They really had fun pairing up the Tenth Doctor with an unusual, opportunistic, mysterious companion by the name of Majenta Pryce. The mystery may not have been too mysterious, in retrospect, but the concept was pretty exciting, and brought back some old favorites like Max Edison and Stockbridge (which first showed up in the 80s/late 90s run of DWM comics) and UNIT, although in Australia. And the Doctor got to be a private eye in a homage to The Spirit.

Last Tenth Doctor comic strips.
More collected comic strips from Doctor Who Magazine. These are the last strips to feature the Tenth Doctor. Publication was delayed for over a year. As always the Doctor who Magazine strips feature some great stories that make a good companion to the TV series. The strips also feature a new companion that appears only in the strip Majenta Pryce. If you enjoy the TV series and other Who related spin offs you should enjoy these strips. Also the Panini Publishing graphic novels are in a larger format than traditional comics/graphic novels. Who fans and or comic fans should check it out.

Great Stories and art work
I really enjoyed The Crimson Hand. Each story was interesting and I liked the new companion. It was nice to have a non-human companion again. Every time I thought I had figured out the ending there was a twist that kept me guessing. I'd recommend it to any tenth doctor fans.

A real winner!
This book was just a fun read as just about everything I read with the 10th Doctor. I am so glad the put this out before the BBC and Panni going to court over the rights. If you love Doctor Who, just go ahead and buy this. You will enjoy the ride.

Defective binding on multiple copies
I'd love to rate this on the content, but I can't. Ordered this as a Christmas gift. Within five minutes of the book being opened, the cover separated and the spine started falling apart. Amazon sent a replacement, only to have the same thing happen. It appears there was a defective batch that had problems with the binding.

Graphic Greatness
This anthology of Tenth Doctor stories is throughly recommended. However, recent revelations such as 'The Timeless Child', the War Doctor and an extra doctor appearing alongside the Jodie Whittaker version means that this may not be the 10th Doctor at all. This is an excellent collection of stories that featured in the Doctor Who Magazine. By the time of writing (May 2020) 29 of these graphic novels have appeared and the collection is up to date with the 30th anthology out in 2020 with the first book of tales featuring the 13th Doctor - or is she?

Horrified at poor quality sold as "new"
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my nephew. It was advertised and sold as new yet when my nephew opened the book this happened. The book looked new yet the first time he opens the book it falls apart indicating it may not be the new book I paid for.

Excellent Graphic Novel
This book is made up of a collection of comic strips mostly from Doctor Who Magazine. The book itself is well made, it is sewn as well as glued, has heavy, shiny paper and a large format (11.5" X 8.5"). The artwork is good (everyone has their favourite/least-favourite artists) and the glossy paper shows off the inking nicely. The story itself is interesting, fast-paced and well written. I do not have children but I would not recommend this for children, I think the term used is too much gory violence (it's in the range of Deadpool violence). This book is an excellent addition to a Doctor Who library or a general graphic novel library.
