I wanted to find something that can help with my dog barking when I am not home. I tried a Citronella bark collar but the smell lingered after the correction was made which made my Maltese really afraid. After that first spray, when I held up the collar she should go hide. So I searched for a different collar and found this one. I love that this collar is rechargeable, has 7 levels for sensitivity, vibration, and shock including the ability to turn off any of them. Before the collar arrived, the manufacturer sent me a quick pdf on how to set up and test the collar before placing it on my dog. It even included the recommended levels for different sized dogs. I went with 7-sensitivity, 1-vibration, 0-shock. The beep and lowest vibration alone was enough to stop my dog from barking!

My five-year-old mini Aussie has long barked at everything that moves. When we moved to a new house in a busier neighborhood, we knew something had to give, but didn't want to shock her. I chose this collar because of its vibration mode and rechargeable battery. The first day in the new house, I put it on her and set it to level 1, which didn't seem to do much. After a few hours, I bumped it up to level 4 and within 30 minutes her incessant barks at anything and anyone going by had dropped to one or two barks. By the third day, she was sitting on our porch calmly watching people go by on the street and on a walking trail with little reaction and no barking.In the past, her barking felt like a feedback loop. The more she barked, the more agitated she'd become. Now that the barking doesn't really start, she seems to stay much calmer in general.I'm quite happy with the battery life as well. After five days of use, it's still at level 4.

I bought 2 for 2 dogs. One collar wasn't working properly and would beep for no reason, which was confusing to the poor dog. The seller was very good to work with and sent a replacement.I like that this collar came with a charging adapter, while the others I looked at did not. Good nylon strap and easy to adjust and buckle. Seems comfortable for the dogs, and they cannot undo each other's.It stays charged for quite a while, and the display lets you know how much charge is left. It recharges quickly.You can also adjust the sensitivity according to the needs of the dog, which is great.It's hard to tell that it is actually working-- sometimes I can hear the beep-- but otherwise I can tell the dogs are definitely barking less often. When they do bark, it is a "quiet" bark and usually only one woof.I don't leave it on them all the time, and they do not bark very often now. But if they do start barking, I simply put the collar back on.

First off, when I ordered it, I choose the prime option which allows to get the item within 2 days. Well, it took 5 days for me to get the collar. Secondly, after FINALLY getting it, it doesn't work for my American Staffordshire. I charged it overnight, tested it by blowing in it (like it says) and I started off by putting the beep and vibration settings on 5. When that didn't work, I went to 7.. My dog is still barking!!! I even tried the shock setting at 5 and it still doesn't work. One week into it, I still have a dog that barks at everything ( with the collar on), a collar that doesn't work and a very disappointed customer. NEVER AGAIN!! I tried to return the collar but they are asking that I pay $6.48 which will be deducted from the refund. I have NEVER had to pay any fees to return an item back on Amazon. Waste of my time and money.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to go this route, but with just moving into an apartment with thin walls could not afford have the dogs barking all day and get me kicked out. It's really working out for me, after a few days they have stopped barking mostly aside from if someone knocks on the door or the like. You can adjust the sensitivity level (noise level), and the shock level. I have my smaller dog on a 2 out of 7, and my large dog on a 4 out of 7. I'm hoping it will "train" them and I won't need it after a few weeks.

Excellent! A little bulky for my little 10 pound dog but it does the trick, just using the vibrations. There are a lot of options and levels of intensity but I find that it is effective using just the vibration on level 6 (levels range from one - seven )and maybe in time, she can control her yipping even when not wearing the collar. I felt the vibration myself and it is an annoying buzz but not painful. I have never had to use the shock but since there are seven levels of intensity I think it would not be harmful to use a shock on a low level however, I am happy to just use the vibration. When we go on walks and she passes the fence behind which there is always a barking dog, she does not bark at all. What a change.

The collar has the 3 options that you can control: sound, vibration and shock, which is great. Unfortunately, another dog barking can set it off as well as if a dog is running. The vibration from movement sets it off. Otherwise, I liked that it was rechargeable until it broke. The metal USB port inside broke loose and now that I glued it back in place, it's not making the connection it needs to to recharge. It needs to be soldered but I do not have the equipment. It only lasted 8 months! Purchasing another one now.

The Collar never really worked well. I love my dog and she's a good girl but just gets too excited sometimes when guests come over. She tends to bark too much and wanted to curb her behavior. I tried the bark collar and tested it on the lowest level. The bark collar sensors would only work 40% of the time. I started noticing the smallest things would trigger her bark collar, even when she didn't bark. I'm sure it really confused my dog. Ultimately this pathetic piece of pestilence stopped working after a month. It is completely dead and will not charge. Save your hard earned money and stay away from this product.

El producto es muy bueno, logro que mi perrita dejara de ladrar en las noches. El problema fue que durante una noche el clip se abrio, el collar se cayo, y mi perrita aprovecho para desquitarse a mordidas con el aparato hasta dejarlo destruido. Como comente, el aparato es muy bueno pero necesitan hacer la correa y clip mas resistentes
