I do like the writing/print on the blanket, it is very nice; however, the actual blanket is very very thin. You can definitely see right through it if you hold it up. It is large and can be used for many things, though, so I'm sure my gift recipient will find a good use for it. I think it may be well suited for covering herself when breastfeeding since it is thin, breathable, and would not create a lot of heat. It comes in a cute knitted-type bag which is different and adds a nice touch.

I gave this to my best friend as a shower gift, and she uses and loves it so much that I bought her a second one! She says it's the softest swaddle blanket she has, and she loves that it's so much bigger than traditional blankets.
