Fit our German Shepherd great. The metal clasp was the selling point for me, I have previously been unable to get a lighted collar with one. She can be a bit of a puller and the plastic buckles make me nervous. It lights very brightly, and doesn't need to charge very often. We took the included USB plug and put it in a usb wall charging 'plug' and it worked fine. As others and the instructions state, it glows dimly until fully charged. I honestly didn't know how long it took to charge, as I plugged it in at night and just unplugged in the morning. This was a great find and a great value.

Good collar over all
I give it a four star because the only problem I have is that my dog can move the setting when laying down and I don't like that. But other than that I like the lightening and it's bright when walking my dog at nights.

Pink Collar Lights Up Red
Good quality collar for the price. The LED strips light up very bright; however, I purchased the pink collar, and the LEDs light up red.I purchased the pink collar fully expecting the LEDs to be pink, so this was quite disappointing.

My wife bought collars for our 3 German Shepards and they work great, even with our long haired one. We live out in the woods and they like to wander, these collars are great for keeping an eye on them at night. We've bought others in the past, but none have worked as well as these. The quality seems good and I feel like they will hold up well. Highly recommend

So far so good, only used it once so far and really like it. Kinda nervous about charging it since I had issues with another one I bought after charging...different kind

Great collar for night use; well built
Great collar; very bright. It charges up in just over a hour. Time will tell how long it lasts. I like how bright it is in the dark.

Sturdy construction, bright lights, easy to use - but a bit heavy and stiff
I recently adopted a senior dog name Ivory, and she likes to go out walking at night. I thought that a collar that lights up would be a very good thing to have with her around here where there aren't a lot of street lights, so I accepted an offer to get a sample of this in exchange for sharing my thoughts about it with you to help you in your shopping. After using it, my opinion is that this is a better option if you like to let your pooch(es) off the leash at night than if you have them on a leash. The lights are very easy to spot and light up the neck/head region well, so you can see your dogs at a distance. However, because of that lighting effect, it actually makes it more difficult for me to see what's coming up in front of us at night because it makes the surroundings look dimmer due to my eyes adjusting to that light.I think that it is very sturdily made, and I don't have any concerns about the collar breaking at either the clasp, the loop that you attach a leash to, or the collar material itself. It's very well made. In terms of safety, I think it's a good collar - and it does what it says it does. You can either have the lights off, constantly on, or blinking at a quick or slow rate. The construction with the light strips inside does make it a bit stiffer than other collars that I've used, and it took a little bit to get it to curve the way that I wanted and loose the kinks that are in it upon arrival due to the way its packed. It's also heavier than I'm used to, with it weighing in at 4 ounces compared to Ivory's normal collar that is 2.3 ounces. Not a huge deal, though. I'm also not used to have a metal clasp, so I notice the sound of the metal loops on the collar and leash hitting that clasp from time to time - but that's easy to fix with a little tape.I do want to point out that the length adjustment ranges, while correct, do require you to push parts of the light strips through the buckle to get it down to the smaller side of the length range. It's not the part of the strips that are showing, but mine had a good length of those wires covered up near the end. It's tougher to push those through the buckle than the regular collar material, and I'm also a bit worried that it will end up damaging the wires and making the lights not work.Recharging it is easy using the included cable, but be sure not to loose it. You could find another connector that will fit, but I wish that they would have gone with a micro USB input that is very common place these days because you probably have a bunch of those cables (and they are really inexpensive if you don't).I took one star away because I had to push part of the light strips through the adjustment buckle to get it to fit Ivory, as well as the added weight and stiffness...and partially because of the non-standard charging cord. Overall, though, it does what it says and definitely makes it easy to see where your dog is at in the dark. For walking on a leash, it's not my thing. However, something like this would great if you let your dogs run out in a field or such at night.

Much brighter than I thought it'd be. Really great collar, especially if you let your dog off leash in the evening in a forested environment.
