Set of 4 Lift Support Gas Struts for Toyota Landcruiser Lexus LX470 1998-2007 Front Hood and Rear Liftgate

The last set of hood struts I purchased from some other place lasted only 5 years. These were a perfect replacement, where the ball stud is captured as part of the strut assembly instead of being clipped on. I find that the clips with separate ball studs on some designs are annoying to use.This time I bought a set that also includes the rear glass liftgate. Took 20 minutes to install everything and was a perfect fit. Suggest an extra helper or using an adjustable hiking pole to help support the hood or liftgate while working. So far so good with no new bumps on my head.

These are used to replace my 2002 Lexus LX470 front hood and rear liftgate old gas struts. Installation was simple and easy, I cut a piece of lumber with the length of the maximum opening of the gas struts to support the front hood and reargate, and then removed the old ones with the new ones. They work very well.

These things are strong and awesome!!! Only thing that could be said about em!!

Put into a 1999 Landcruiser in a couple minutes. Nice and strong, good replacement when the originals start to sag.

Easy to install and does the job.
