Great casings. Very long continuous length
We made several types of sausage (Italian, chorizo and brats). These are exceptional casings. Highly recommended. Great taste and light snap just like the butcher shop.Easy to use. And most important a very long continuous length of casing that is easily enough for 15-17lbs of sausage meat. You get three tubes in a package which will do 45-50lbs as advertised. These casings worked perfect and the preloaded straw makes them very easy to place on the stuffing horn. No holes. No knots. If you need less just cut at the length you need when done stuffing. Put the remainder back on the straw. Salt and store in the refrigerator. One caveat. You need at least a 5.5” stuffing horn for the full length casing to fit on the stuffer - so be aware of that. These casings are a few dollars more than non pre-loaded casings but in our opinion, were worth the money as you save so much time loading the casings and don’t end up ripping a casing loading it on the stuffer. We also bought some overseas casings and did not like them at all. They were very short (3’) and you had to spend a lot of time cleaning them and they were hard to load. Our recommendation are clearly these as the best.

Nice casings for brats
Very happy with these! They came on a ring so linear rather than bunched up - net result that they are easier to pull out one at a time. Second, they are nice long casings so I could make 7-10 brats per casing. Importantly, smelled fresh. Soaked and rinsed as directed with another round of baking soda to make them slick for loading on the tube. No breaks when loaded and nice snap when grilled. Will see how they store in the fridge, on salt in a snap top so that's TBD.

Worked out very well.
All good casings. Worked very well. Let sit over night and used lots of water when stuffing.

Easy to use
I'm new to making sausage and ordered the LEM casings based on the Amazon reviews.I made 25 lbs of bratwurst today and these were relatively easy to use. They had no distinct smell out of the package. Hydrating the casings was easy. I found that most of the casings were 4-5 feet long, but several were under 3 feet. A couple casings had tears near one end, but morning too major.I'm happy with these overall, but I haven't tried eating any of the sausages yet, so I may be back to edit my review at a later date.

If you have to buy a salted quarter-hank of hog guts, these are the ones to buy
Seriously, if you have to buy these in this form because you're not making 20lbs of sausage in a session, these are the good quality ones to buy.If you *are* making 20lbs, buy pre-tubed by the hank (~100lbs of sausage) (LEM sells 'em, and they're fine quality), they come wet-brined in a roll of 5 pre-tubed casings. If you are making smaller quantities, buy these from LEM - they're consistent diameter, production-length, free of holes, quick to reconstitute, have good, consistent bite that's not too tough if served in a bun, color quickly and evenly in the smoke, stuff cleanly and smoothly, and link nicely.Very much recommended for beginners through seasoned pros who are making small batches.

Inconsistent.
I was it a fan of these. Very inconsistent in width, length and had multiple holes. I must have got a bad batch because everyone else seems to like them.

Great quality
We recently purchased the LEM Products Natural Hog Casings (32-35mm, 6.1-ounce package) for making homemade sausages, and they have been fantastic! My husband used them to make a variety of sausages, including sausage links, franks, and metts. The quality of these casings is excellent; they are durable and easy to work with. The amount provided in the package is generous, enough for us to make sausages three times, and we store the unused portion in the freezer. These are a great choice if you're looking for reliable, high-quality casings for your sausage-making needs. Highly recommend!
