Nice lock
This diary has a more solid lock than most of the cheap flimsy ones I see at stores. My daughter loved it.

Everything about this is amazing
This would be an excellent gift for someone entering their teens or early adulthood.... however I bought it for me lol. I wasn't getting good sleep at night and wanted to try other things before resorting to sleep gummies or meds and I figured why not get my thoughts out on paper ( which is really nice quality ) before bed? The cover is soft and comfortable when resting on your lap to write in while remaining a sturdy surface. The color is exactly like the picture and they include instructions for the password. The pen itself makes it worth the price!

For my daughter
This is a good little diary, but took us forever to get it open. It already had a code set to it. You can figure out the code by looking at little marks on the dial. What they don’t tel you though, is you need a flashlight to look into it to see the little marks. It is sturdy, cute colored, and easy to use now that we know the code. :-)This is not a paid review

Journal quality is great daughter loves it
My daughter loves this. She loves to write, but was always afraid someone at school would read her journal when she stepped away so she asked if she could earn this journal. She loves it and carries it with her everywhere. I'm glad she has a place to put her thoughts without worrying about who is going to read it.
