Q: Can this be a substitute for Xanthium Gum when using as a thickener or in baked goods?

Hi Dawni, Thank you for your question. The psyllium husk powder can also be used in baked goods such as breads, muffins and more. It is important to adjust the serving based on your recipe, and important to note that the psyllium husk has been finely ground and will thicken very quickly when added to water. Q: How do you add this to water without it clumping?

I always add it to my indredients in the food processor. Ive never had problems with it clumping.

Q: What is the best way to store it?

You can put it in a hermetically sealed ornamented cypress wood box, or put in kitchen cabinet. I do the latter and have been for years. :)
