I bought it for the heated-comb, as far as I was concerned everything else was "bonus."The heated comb itself is fantastic and more than worth the money itself. On it's lowest heat setting, it straightens hair with ease and quickly. I HIGHLY recommend for it as a beard straightener. It would probably work for hear on your head as well, though I'm unable to test that, hah.As far as the scent, I'm not a fan. I usually prefer unscented products. That said, I didn't buy it for the beard-balm or other items included. The wooden comb and brush are pretty decent quality too, though I don't really need them.

I decided to grow out my moustache and saw this kit which had a lot of different elements so I thought I'd give it a try. There are various things in the kit. Some are good, some are ok, but overall it's a nice package. The comb, scissors, and brush are good and the straightener works very well. In fact, my daughter started using the straightner for her bangs.The only other items I really wanted to try are the balm, oil and wax. It was hard for me to see the difference between the balm and the oil. Both were supposed to go on your beard to give it a sheen. Both of them worked, but the oil was dissapointing. It just didn't seem to be as effective as another oil I already had. The wax was ok, but didn't have a lot of hold. The shampoo and conditioner didn't seem to make much of a difference on my beard.Bottom line, if you want to give a gift to someone who has a beard and moustache this is a good one to consider. It has a lot of stuff that they may or may not use, but it certainly looks good.

The price is good. Although I bought this and then it went on sale so I was alittle bummed out but My honest opinion. This is a great beginner kit to get into a routine for your beard.I will start with the products. The balm is good. It doesn’t really have a scent but it makes your beard look good. The wax, I was alittle disappointed with didn’t hold the way I was expecting it to. The shampoo and conditioner, they’re ok. No scent to them but works well. The heat spray is good for the comb. And now the hardware. The scissors really sharp and crisp I use them a lot. The comb and the brush are very nice brush is soft and doesn’t scratch my face. The hot comb is top notch. I didn’t realize how crazy my beard looked until I used the hot comb. I would definitely get this for someone as a gift. Ladies if your man has a beard and he doesn’t have a routine down. I would recommend this.

I bought this a few months ago. The following review is based on my experience and tastes, so dont take this to heart.The straightener so far still works wellBut lately i use a hair dryer with the comb adapted.The shampoo and the conditioner in specific smells awesome. The balm as well, but i dont use it much. I rather use beard butter instead.Love both the comb and brush.Have not use the mustache wax.Most of my issue is with the oil.The oil itself is not bad. You may like the rustic smell, but im not really a fan. Its not a smell that i like, but neither a smell i dislike. My roommate says the same. She can't point what the smell is like. She says is similar to a tree trunk.The problem for me is when you add another leave in product with the oil. It changes the smell drastically and not often us a good smell.Again this may be a different experience for you. But over all. The only thing you will regret is not having more of that awesome shampoo and conditioner.
