clip holds belt in place really well. belt is actually elastic but has real tight weave so that is not flimsy. it's not real heavy so it doesn't weigh down pants. worth the cost. easy to adjust if necessary.

I love these belts. I wear them all the time. They are comfortable and are easy to adjust. The clip mechanism is really nice when you don't want to remove the belt but just undo it so you can change quickly into a swimsuit for example, and your belt is already preadjusted for getting dressed again.
