works but it should be included with the spare air
This is really a rip off, it should be included with the spare air.Would you really want to use the spare air as your backup that could save your life and rely on the mechanical gauge that comes with it? No you would not.I bought this but I am not happy about it.I guess you can skip this item and just make sure before you go on a give, connect your spare air to a full tank with about 3000 psi and that would also work as well.

Better quality than expected!!!
The SpareAir Dial Gauge upgrade gauge is better quality than expected! It's designed of heavy weight metal, precision dial, doesn't stick out as to easily get bumped or knocked Off. Outstanding quality, keep up the good work and a very useful upgrade, instead of trying yo guess how much air is in the tank. Made in USA?

Outstanding addition to your spare air
This dial is a great little upgrade to your spare air. Easily installed and comes with the o-ring and lubricant.

A practical need for Spare Air
This is just fine and works well. I would have given it a 5*, but this is so fundamental to the Spare Air that it should not be an add on. It's like the proverbial nightmare story of a car dealership selling you a car and asking you if you want tires for it. You need this to be sure Spare Air is properly filled, is maintaingin pressure. Not imperative for actual emergency use (you have what you have on an emergency ascent and knowing doesn't change that), but it is sure nice to know you actually have 3000 psi when you start.

Could have been a useful piece of equipment.
Broken when it arrived.

Don't use o-ring that comes with gauge
Gauge o-ring blew 30 minutes after filling spare air to 3000 psi. Luckly had not left dive shop. Replaced o-ring. Used on one fresh water and two open water dives with no more problems. For price should have came with a quality o-ring.
