Hi, yes the charger is part of the set! It plugs right into an outlet!

Q: Do they have a model w a camera?

No. Welch Allyn makes a digital Macroview otoscope and iExaminer iPhone bracket for the Panoptic ophthalmoscope. The bracket allows the iPhone to record the eye exam. Welch Allyn does not make a set with the digital Macroview, Panoptic, and iExaminer. You would have to purchase separately.

Q: Is the opthalmoscope dimmable?

The ophthalmoscope is dimmable through the rheostat on the handle.

Q: Why is this so much cheaper than the standard set on the Welch Allyn website?

Judging from the comments below I would be concerned that these products are either used or not functioning appropriately from this seller. I was looking into buying one but will go directly through a distributor or Welch Allyn website. I think this seller needs to be reported as many individuals are posting about the same problem: items NOT working.
