I love this umbrella, clips on to my camping chair and it's nice to be able to move it around with the sun.

Being fair-skinned and having a friend undergoing cancer treatments, shade was a top priority on a girl's trip to the beach with daughters. These umbrellas were a true lifesaver, but take some time (laughing) to figure out the best place to attach them. 360* allows for endless options to maximum coverage. Pictured worked well for our face, but we attached them to the front of the chairs instead and it covered our entire upper body. They are easy to attach, held their position, and more importantly we didn't get sunburned. Keep in mind, you can clamp them on either side of the chair, front or back post, and with the screw tightener facing up or down. We had to switch them from the left to right side mid-day, but most of the time the click and adjust buttons did the trick as the sun moved. This was the most enjoyable beach trip I've had due to these umbrellas giving outstanding shade coverage.

I purchased an umbrella a few years ago and I wanted another one like it. I didn’t have the brand available to match the exact same item. It arrived today and was very nice but was missing the feature of the rotation of the pole part.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Several positions for adjustment. Pretty easy to install. Feels fairly flimsy and will not stand up to even a light kansas breeze.

Had a chance to use this clever umbrella today on a sweltering sunny day. The umbrella did a great job blocking UV rays, making the shade noticeably cooler that another umbrella we used. The attachment was sturdy and sure. I moved the umbrella to a variety of positions on my bag chair and it always seemed solid. There are a number of tilt, twist joints to aid in positioning the shade. The elongated design provides a good amount of shade, enough to cover a chair and your legs. The only drawback I found was the inability to rotate the canopy once you have settled on a clamped position. If you are looking for cool shade, this is your umbrella.

Update: after about using it 10 times in a year the clamp broke! No longer giving it four stars. Great shade for camping chair. Folds easily, and more or less adjusts as needed. Heavy so it will tip over when not sitting in chair.

What a game changer. West facing evening sun…I can finally enjoy evenings in the porch without wrangling with various types of sunshades, hats, dark glasses, etc. I am now in perfect shade, can read, snooze, etc. it’s wonderful!!

If you live in an apartment, have metal railings this attaches perfectly, can turn it, various heights, and shaped like a sail, great great buy, I will buy another one for the other end of the balcony.
