Sad that the chalkboard surface isn't more washable to reuse ...
They worked well for daughters wedding. Sad that the chalkboard surface isn't more washable to reuse them- no matter what we used chalk/chalk pen, they left wording behind when we attempted to clean them. Scrubbing just removed the paint.

Round peg - square hole.
I bought these for use at a birthday party and they were unusable without a lot of modification. None of the pegs remotely fit into the bases. I had to use a screwdriver to widen the holes to wedge them in. If I could request a refund I would.
