Nice feature set geared mainly for home use.
Nice feature set geared mainly for home use. The box may call it "professional" but the feature set says otherwise. This is a powered mixer. If you want to use that feature, the only output is bare wires like you would use to connect to home bookshelf speakers. If this was geared for professional use it should have XLR, Phone Plug or at minimum RCA outputs. I bought some adapter cables (Bare wire to phone-plug) to hook up to a pair of small passive monitor speakers. The specs show 100 Watts RMS per channel. I don't think it comes close to that, but for my use in a small practice area it will be fine. Now putting the powered section aside, you can use it as a regular mixer. I tried it with a condenser mike with 48v power it worked but with not enough gain. A dynamic mike worked fine and also a wireless which seemed to be the best for sufficient gain. Using a guitar was challenging, there were major hum issues. Again when I used a wireless connection it worked much better. Now in this section you do have XLR, and Phone Plug outs as well as RCA, so that's good. Volume and tone controls worked well. The effects is a ?, there is no labeling, just play around with it with the up & down buttons, find the best sound and leave it there. There is one knob to control the overall amount of the effect, and then a knob on each channel to choose how much to apply to the individual channel. The manual doesn't tell you the BT ID code, but it will BMG-XXX format. Once paired, it worked fine. Build quality seems decent, metal chassis with hard plastic side pieces. Overall in my opinion it's average but not outstanding.

Simple mixer board for someone that knows a little bit already about what they are doing
I have to admit that this piece of audio mixing gear is a bit beyond my experience level. I got it to control a microphone and some speakers only to find out that the microphone plugged directly into the speakers already, so I did not even need this board. I have fooled around with it using a USB microphone that I have at my desk, but I simply don't know enough about the audio engineering world to get the full benefits of this piece of equipment. That said, this board is nice and well manufactured. It is a solid piece of equipment. 4 stars.
