Bought these years ago, and I still use them and are functional. Excelente quality.

These road "flares" are phenomenal! I ordered 6 because i sometimes pull a utility trailer with ATVs in there and the trailer can be a little more dark than a regular vehicle with all of its lighting (even though I added more lights to the sides and back). I wanted the 6 so I could trace the side line of both the car and the trailer for max safety especially if I had to change a tire on the trailer.The lights are very bright. With 9 settings its really nice to have some flares making one warning pattern and the others making one or more different warning patters. They are clearly well made and have solid durable coating. The magnet, though small, is powerful and works well.The white LED light on the top is bright and great for task lighting. I do wish the top LED light either had its own switch or could be more easily operated. Currently you have to function through all 9 presets to get to it. I do also wish the hanging hook on the back was a bit more sturdy. I could see it snapping when the plastic got cold and became less malleable.When you buy a set of 3 you get a carry bag with each set. However, I was very pleased to find that all 6 fit nicely (not too tight or too loose) into the one bag. This way the flares are easily transferable from car to car. However, given how much I like them, I am definitely getting 6 for my wife's car. The addition of providing batteries with each light is a testament to the product's and seller's thoughts into the entire conceptual design.

Bought these instead of foldable triangles. The LED flares are small, light and compact. Easy to store in a vehicle or Emergency kit. Magnet is covered with soft plastic to protect paint. Folding hook is plastic and doesn't look like it would hold up to abuse. Push button to cycle through the different strobes is easy to depress. To turn off unit(s) you must cycle through all strobe sequences until you come to the white flashlight feature, then the unit(s) will be off. Daylight they are pretty much useless and triangles would be better. A night they are very bright and visible beyond 1/2 mile (that's as far as I viewed them from). I was more concerned with visibility at night than day, so they suit my purpose well. I think these will work far better than standard road flares and are much safer...no worries about dripping slag or starting a fire.

I don’t often give 5 stars to any product, but this product is everything and more than I expected. It’s sturdy, it’s very bright, it’s easy to use and figure out. It’s orange, it has a really nice zippered case. It has a hook, and a magnet, and a flashlight. It is so cheap for what you get, I’d expect this to cost twice as much. And oh yea, it comes with batteries already installed and operable. It also makes a desirable and inexpensive gift that everyone will want. No one is regifting this! I’m ordering 3 more.

The media could not be loaded.  I work in construction and most of the time we have to think out of the box to make things happen. I had to run conduit in a 25 foot ceiling with a laser line and the lights in the area had to be off so the laser can be seen. Now the area wasnt too dark but not that bright to see a laser housing thats black and blue. I had thoughts of putting a cone next to my laser to show lifts and forklifts where my laser is positioned. However some people dont pay attention where they are going and may disregard a cone as an obsticle and just run it over and destroy a $200 laser. So i looked around for an LED light with a flashing feature that wasn't too expensive and came across these LED Road Flares. After researching them i found they were perfect. All i had to do was be creative and mount it to a cone. So i took a metal stud cut to size and drilled through the metal and cone and secured it with a 1/4" X 4" toggle bolt. The magnet on the light secured it to the metal on top of the cone. Now my laser location is visible to all who drive by on the floor.

I like the product it seems to be well made and works well. I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 stars for two simple reasons that don't reflect on the quality of the product. Just not how sure I am about the visibility in heavy traffic conditions. They are bright and seem they will give notice along secondary roads. First I would like to see this just a little bigger with brighter LED lights. The lights are bright, but just not sure how well the current lights will be visible in heavier traffic conditions. Second I would like to see maybe "C" size batteries for brighter lights and duration of use. No one knows how long their vehicle or need for these lights would be during an emergency use. With winter and longer nights knowing these lights would last a minimum of say 24 hours, and hopefully longer, would be really nice. I am not saying this particular product should be dropped, but an option for an upgrade to brighter lights and bigger longer lasting power source. Just thought of another option a 15 or 20 foot cord to plug in the car's power source to extended use. Bottom line I will buy another set for my other vehicle and planning a set as a gift.

I think a product like this is a must have for every driver, yet I hope I never have to use these. Put a couple or three of these out on the road in case of emergency and I think it’s pretty certain the hazard ahead message will be loud and clear.
