Admittedly the first one we received was a dud and would not charge or power on, but the replacement Amazon sent, has worked great and is still running strong at nearly a full year of use. Good buy. No complaints once dud was replaced.

The Pure LUMA Mask Professional LED light device performs very well to provide near infra-red facial, neck, and chest treatment. The power supply takes a few minutes to warm up and become operational, so I recommend plugging it in first, then attaching the usb cables for the mask and neck/chest pieces. Eventually, the colored lights will come on and you can choose which color treatment you prefer. The silicone eye guards take some fiddling with the first time, but once you figure it out you won't need to bother about it because once you decide which way is up and what works best for you they can be left in place.A bonus to using this NIR device is that it appears to improve my ability to get a good night's sleep. I use it for 15 - 20 minutes mid-day. Maybe it helps with melatonin production? I think it might but that's just one self report, not scientific. It definitely gives my skin a healthy, supple appearance. I find it's worth the fuss of making time for it and putting up with putting it on before having a short nap. I always use it laying down. Not so easy to walk around since you are tethered to the plug. Good value for the money.

Having used a lighter weight type with a face screen, held on with ear pieces, this is quite a difference. The mask is quite heavy, even trying the silver adapters for fit. I am using a piece of mole skin across the bridge of my nose to help with the pressure. I do like that the sides are hinged and light hits the sides of your face. The neck piece is a great addition, more comfortable than the mask and very easy to use. So far I have I have used the red/green/blue lights and am very happy with the results so far. It was very helpful in clearing up some acne scarring that I have recently experienced.

I actually like this product. It worked well for about a week. At least I think it did?Pros: It has 8 different LED colors. It's easy to set up and use. Has multiple levels of lighting strength. I like the flexibility of the mask. It's not heavy.Cons: the mask is designed for a face much larger than my own. The strap position isn't great, so I really just end up holding the thing or laying flat. Not a huge deal.Warning: the eye pieces don't block out the light. I think this will be the case with similar products due to how bright the lights actually are. I have gone as far as placing a sock over my eye (lol) and it was still bright. Just be aware of that if you have sensitive eyes. I don't believe that's something that can be prevented.The reason for my 1 star: the neck piece stopped working after a few days because the wires weren't secured properly. (It's transparent so you can see the loose wiring). I contacted the company AS INSTRUCTED by Amazon AND the contact card I received with the product. Instead of helping me, they sent me back to Amazon to initiate a return. Why even waste my time and ask me to contact you (the manufacturer) if you're not going to help? Then Amazon has the audacity to ask if I've tried contacting the manufacturer for an exchange! Like what?!I feel customer service is very important, and I don't like being passed around. Don't say you'll "make it right" if you're just going to displace the responsibility onto someone else. Very disappointing.If I had the fully working product that I paid for, I would have given it 4 stars. The item had low reviews but I still took a chance. I would have been satisfied with my purchase, despite the mask being too big, if I had not also received a defective product with loose wiring.

I researched all brands of the Lite mask. This company won my vote until my girlfriend received it as a birthday present.I just learned that the product does not come with an adapter to charge the mask.My friend will go out of her way and spend her money to purchase one. I don’t like sending a gift and then hearing that they need to purchase something that should be included with this purchase. Also there is no user manual. This is something that she will have to go on line and download.I sent this product to another friend too but she is returning it.This product is not FDA approved as well if that matters to anyone.The mask itself is soft sided which is a plus and it has the lite for the neck. I have used Face-lite mask now for 5 years. It is from Australia so paying customs on top of the product was very pricey but it had everything that I would need to start using my mask right away.There is no way to reach the company. Not even an email. So disappointed.Very disappointed.
