I absolutely love Hanalei Lip Balm!!! I got a sample through Ipsy 4-5 yrs ago, then ordered a full size tube & it’s lasted all this time with no degradation! Thought it was high time for more but no longer use Ipsy & checked for it here on Amazon! This is the best moisture locking balm that truly works for me! Especially at bedtime, it doesn’t rub off & I awake with plump, normal lips! It also seems to help with the above lip creases staying nice. All I can say, is order some, you’ll appreciate the softness, moisture & cute shimmery shine! I can use a scant 1/8” squeeze from the tube & I’m covered for hours!!!

I am very prone to dry skin, and I've been using this lip treatment since I got a sample size in an Etsy bag in 2020. I have consistently bought it since, as it is the only thing that has helped prevent and soothe my chapped lips in the winter. Always great quality, always lasts a long time, and always keeps my lips soft.

First, and probably most important, is that I found the product really leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturized. I have a real problem with that and this really worked very well. Also the tint was very nice. What I didn’t like about it—and I really didn’t like—was the flavor/taste. Why would I want to have something with a flavor on my lips all day? And it was strong! I wouldn’t buy this again because of it. I might try the one without any color, hoping it would also have no taste. My other complaint concerns the minis—nowhere in the listing does it show you that it doesn’t have an applicator tip. So you either have to use your fingers or drag the screw top across your lips. I’ve seen other companies offer a mini version of a very similar product and it has an applicator tip.

Wow, this is a great product. Nice and thick, it has single handedly saved my chapped lips. Will definitely purchase again.

I absolutely LOVE this lip treatment. I got it as a sample in a beauty box a couple years ago. I had never heard of the brand and after trying many highly rated, expensive lip products for my chronically chapped, cracked lips I wasn’t expecting much. I applied it before bed and, to my surprise, I woke up with beautiful, plump, moisturized lips. *Literally* overnight it fixed everything I’ve been spending years trying to improve. I’ve been using it since, and have never found another product that is quite as effective. You can literally rub your lips together and feel the dry, flaky patches melting away shortly after applying. It’s very similar to lanolin (which it contains), but not quite as thick and sticky as lanolin tends to be and I find performs even better than plain lanolin. It has a pleasant but light and subtle taste. It makes your lips appear smooth and shiny but in a hydrated, healthy way, not like a lip gloss. I wear a light to medium coat under other lip products or by itself, and before bed I slather on a thick layer. It doesn’t wipe off quickly, there is plenty on my lips in the morning, while still feeling smooth and not sticky. I’m not acne prone but I don’t have issues with it causing break outs or anything personally. If it’s cold it can take a bit of pushing and squeezing to get it to come out of the tube but it melts down as soon as it hits your lips. I find massaging the tube for a couple seconds helps. Even at room temp it can be on the thick side, but that changes when it touches your skin. I really adore this lip treatment, it’s so much better than others I’ve tried from different brands (and including the popular lip sleeping mask from a brand that starts with an L — this is so, so much better). I basically keep a tube with me at all times and give them out with Christmas presents every year. My husband even uses it because he loves the way it makes his lips feel! If I could rate it ten stars I would!

This is my fourth purchase but this time I am not at all happy. In the past I have found that this is the best lip balm available and it still is providing you get a quality item. This latest tube is so thick it's almost impossible to squeeze anything out. I have to exert extreme pressure before I can get even a small amount to come out. I don't know whether it's old or expired or what has happened to the product but I am very displeased.

I was looking for a product that I tired as a sample and realized it was discontinued. On the search for a similar product I came across this one and I’m so happy I did. I was having trouble finding a Chapstick or lip treatment that would moisturize my lips, keep them moisturized and last. This product does all of that. While it appears to be a thick product, it does not feel heavy. It glides on easily, you don’t have to use a lot, it stays on for long periods, and keeps my lips moisturized. There is none of that feeling you need to reapply consistently or that feeling of dryness that you get when it wears off your lips. It actually Moisturizes them and so into your lips so that they are treated and moisturized, even when the product is not on. It also has a wonderful vanilla flavor and scent. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a lip treatment to actually treat dryness, that is lightweight and actually moisturizing. The tint is amazing as well. It’s not too overbearing and provides great color and stays!

A bit more pink than I was expecting but I love this lip gloss. My lips get so dry at work (building is very dry) and it helps keep them from cracking.

I'm beyond impressed! I've tried so many lip products you can't even imagine (dozens and dozens), and this one actually repairs my very chapped lips that I endlessly bite. It has a nice body to it, nice and thick (not sticky, of course)... thankfully not thin like some. Stays on very impressively. It's quite vanilla-scented which is MY thing, but may be someone else's thing. I prefer unscented. Yes, it is pricey, but boy does it do the job, so in my opinion it's worth every penny. I'd absolutely buy it again. I use it all throughout the day and overnight. A+... Also, amazing ingredients. So many star ingredients!
