Excellent prop to complete The mother of dragons look, I actually have two but never got around to painting the other one. After wearing it all night and dancing with it part of the time The elastic wears out that secures the dragon to your shoulder, not surprised. Excellent value added to costume.

It was a little inexpensive looking, but I needed a shoulder dragon and where else would I get one from? Well, this one has visible screws and the parts kind of wiggle and wobble about, but come on, it was inexpensive and it is a plastic dragon. I figured after I was done with it, I would give it to my kids to play with, but it is a bit to poorly put together for that and my kids might eat the pieces. Oh well, it was still a shoulder dragon. I guess what I am saying is - it makes a fine prop for a costume, but don't expect too much. I liked the paint work fine, but the looseness of the attachments was really why it was a solid 4 stars for me.

This little dragon is everything I hoped for and more! The look is amazing—it instantly elevates any medieval or fantasy costume, and I got compliments all night. It’s lightweight, sits comfortably on the shoulder, and stayed put surprisingly well. Super fun for cosplay or Halloween, and for the price, the value is incredible. This is a terrible item. I do not recommend purchasing it. It is very cheaply made with weak plastic, poor/smeared painting, very thin/weak elastic for securing to your shoulder, and has 6 medium shiny metal screws that visibly hold the pieces together (two on the arms/wings, two on the legs, and two on the tail) which they don't show you in the pictures. The screws holding the tail have very thin pieces of plastic to hold on to. I had trouble returning this despite the fact that it was missing a screw and was not as advertised with the exposed screws I mentioned earlier. They tried to charge me for shipping the item back to them. Then they only refunded the price of the item, not the cost of shipping the item to me in the first place.

Seller was awful. Product was shipped in a plastic bag with no padding so it came broken. My plan is to glue it back together, fix the tail and paint it. It's not a bad product, it's just the seller I was unhappy with. The paint job is awful so I'd suggest you redo it. The shoulder fit is also pretty bad and because of the horrible seller my dragons legs are super fragile and snap off easily so it feels very fragile while I wear it.

I answered the question about painting it in the reviews, so repainting it was key... (You can see my notes in the questions and answers section.) I wore a sleeveless dress, and first slipped the elastic band to place and secure the dragon over my shoulder. (The dragon's feet are oriented so that the dragon sits on your left shoulder comfortably.) I then pulled the dress over my shoulder and zipped it up, arranging the feet outside the dress. Safety pins were really helpful in securing everything. I pinned the whole elastic band in increments to the sports bra I was wearing underneath it all, so that the elastic didn't creep up into my armpit. It was comfortable and secure for hours so I didn't have to think about it, and looked very natural. It was challenging to do all the pinning myself; you will need a good mirror, and an assistant would have been ideal to help with the pinning. This dragon is a good size for an adult.

Unless you plan on repainting it, this is not worth the money. Also if you have any traps what so ever, it will never stay in place without adding an additional strap.

This is not the most durable item in the universe in terms of the straps staying in place. But the dragon itself is quite sturdy and looks pretty cute with my daughter's new paint job. You really can't beat the price for this; a lot of bang for the buck. I have to say, too, I saw the identical dragon at a local Halloween shop and it was at least $5 more there (not shocking, but still good to see when Amazon is offering the best price).

So based on the other reviews I ordered knowing I would be buying him to fix up! The dragon is awesome! The Paint Job is horrific haha. However I have a husband who is very handy with painting and enjoys painting games work shop bits so I asked him to sort out my Dragon! Hes just sprayed black at the moment as a base, as you can see the actual dragon is great. He will be repainted with detail to look like Baby Drogon from Game Of Thrones for my Khaleesi Costume. Buy to fix it up and you wont be dissapointed. To wear he is very light weight and sits nicely on the shoulder of an adult.

I loved the dragon, everybody thought ot looked awesome with my Daenerys costume. The elastic band was kinda tight and unconfortable so I ended up glueing the dragon to some fabric which I wrapped around my body and it held up perfectly !

Doesn't stay on your shoulder too well but it's cute for a night costume.

The shoulder strap broke instantly.

Tail falls off constantly. Couldn’t use. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.
