This is a very solid, well made unit. Have not used the heat yet, but the cooling works great. Rated it at 4 stars because we have had to replace the glass tube fuse twice, not sure if it's blowing because of our outlet or the unit itself.

I'm a truck driver, and I've owned several of these types of coolers. What I like about this one is that the lid pulls right off when you Want It to so you can wash the cooler out without having to worry about getting the electricals all wet. if you wanted to you could take the lid and set it on top of a similar size styrofoam chest while you're cleaning the main compartment which adds to the versatility in my opinion. it makes a little louder humming sound Then some that I've owned, but not loud enough to be annoying or a deal-breaker. It's just pretty much nice white noise

After using it two times it stopped working...

I own a older Coleman cooler/warmer and needed a slightly larger one. This is a perfect size for driving trips. It holds enough food and beverages for the two of us. It is nicer than the Coleman because it has a storage compartment for the cord and a button to switch from cold to hot. I do use an ice pack and a frozen water bottle to make sure that everything stays cold. It's a lot better then using a cooler that you need ice for. It keeps things hot when you want it that way and it keeps things cold. It's perfect.

Worst cooler anyone can buy it's my second one in 3 weeks and it doesn't keep anything cold and it just went out will never buy anything form this company again

Bought for road trips. Works perfectly to hold food,drinks, and my medication that needs refrigerated. I did buy the adapter cord so it can plug into wall.

I travel between Florida and Pennsylvania and this was perfect. I bought the adapter so I could plug it in at the hotel stops. No ice, no mess. Love it!
