Everything that I expected from this 16Z90Q, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD...
I had been researching laptops to replace my well-served laptop for a few years now. My main requirements were being very lightweight, having one of the newest processors, and over 300 NITS from the screen to do my photography post-processing when I travel. The LG Gram has always been on my radar but the price was prohibitive until this went on sale @ a 45% discount from list.Long story short, I couldn't be happier pulling the trigger on this unit. You will not be disappointed. There's hardly any bloatware (well done LG!) and the battery life is exactly as expected (VERY long, but not to published spec in real life, but close.Personal notes: 1) I highly recommend buying a good skin made for this laptop as the finish is extremely prone to fingerprints and may feel too 'slippery' for such a light and expensive unit to replace. 2) The keys take a little getting used to (a little too flat) and I wished it had a fingerprint reader instead of relying on the Windows Hello system. 3) While I do not NEED more than 16Gb RAM, I wish it had more as it is not upgradeable (soldered to board). 4) There does exist some screen flex, but don't be alarmed; just know that it's made of a magnesium alloy for weight but you should still be careful. 5) Speakers shoot downward from the base and aren't anything to boast about but I wasn't looking for a boom-box.All told, I highly recommend this 2022-version16Z90Q laptop.

Good enough ~
I bought this after my (only 3-year-old) Dell 15” 3-way laptop imploded with disastrous data losses. But that’s another story. And you don’t wanna get me started.I bought the LG Gram 16Z90Q laptop because my blushing bride of 51 years standing got herself the 17” version a couple years back and really likes it. When I told the shop that did the autopsy on my Dell that I’d ordered this new Gram the owner said “Oh . . .” When I volunteered that I’d bought the optional 48-month warranty, he immediately brightened and said, “That’s good!” Hmmmm. So, first my gripes. It’s not a touchscreen; didn’t realize how much I’d miss that. And that’s because the cursor on the screen is constantly camouflaged by everything else; it’s like a ghost cursor unless it’s on a black background. I need to call tech support to see if there’s some way to put a BatSuit or something on it to make the cursor show up.Some of the symbols on the keys are a bit difficult to see ($, for example). I had to learn that shifting functions in the F row requires pushing the Fn key instead of the Shift key. Sometimes if I strike a key too hard while pecking out my hunted letter key, it will print HHHHH instead of just the intended H.Enough grousing. Hey, I’m a Baby Boomer; I’m entitled. Now, the good: sturdy, lithe and light for its size. 1Tb SSD. Sharp screen. Responsive touchpad. Impressive battery life. Good audio quality with a surprising soundstage. Stays cool, no fan noise. So, it’s a mixed bag. Not sure I’d buy it again but IIRC there was no touch-screen in the 16-inchers.And I like it enough that I’ll just accentuate the positives and accommodate the rest.Addendum: I did find the way to make the cursor a big honker. Yay!

Calidad de los materiales
Por el precio de este artículo esperaba un contextura más premium pero la calidad del plástico se siente de baja calidad y hasta frágil. Con respecto a lo demás no llegué a probarla.

LOVE THIS LAPTOP! 4 stars because first one had dead pixels in the middle of the screen.
This is my 2nd Gram. I had the previous model 16" as well. I thought I wanted something "more" so I purchased a Spectre with a 16" OLED and a faster CPU etc... The entire time I kept going back to my Gram. I really have come to appreciate how LIGHT IT IS! And the battery life is fantastic as where the Spectre with OLED and faster CPU could barely hit 5 hours. Long story short, I sold my previous LG Gram and my Spectre and purchased this new LG Gram and I love it! I was a little disappointed they removed the finger print scanner, but its not the end of the world. The new matte screen, 12th gen CPU, 4th gen NVME, DDR5, etc.. more than make up for it!I will note, I actually had to send my first one back. It had a cluster of dead pixels in the middle of the screen, and for that I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5.

Love LG Grams... but got a lemon
I love LG Grams, I use them for all staff in my company- HOWEVER, I gave myself an "upgrade" to this model and after ~6months, the microphone stopped working... like the software, not a hardware problem. Doesn't matter how many headsets, or just the computer mic itself. I've tried working with LG and resetting things, updating drivers etc but can't get it to work. In a world where we're on video calls all day, this is a MAJOR problem. I still love LG, so until this becomes a pattern, I will continue to use them- but would avoid this specific model.
