I have been trying and trying to find something to engage my bored indoor cats and this is the BEST toy EVER. It is well made with natural materials and immediately engaged my cats - from kitten to old maid. I rated it only a 4 for value for money because it IS expensive but I still ordered three more to be sure I never run out. I could not be more pleased. I only wish I had saved the money on other cheaper cat toys that don't hold my cats' interest. I think this is great for indoor cats who are overweight or depressed from boredom. It doesn't take a lot of owner energy to play either - and it is a delight to see the cats playing so happily. Thank you for this!

My kitty loves her new toy! The handle is solid wood with a wrapped grip handle and a sturdy string that can withstand scratching and chewing. The felt ball can be replaced when she finally destroys it. This is a quality item that will last - not a cheap plastic thing that will go in a landfill after a week. We love the cat toy so much, we bought two in different colors.

Well made item. Worth the buy as are the optional color attachments. Our cats prefer the color blue over the red the item ships with and your cat(s) may too.Update: Toy is 1+yr and just changed the ball. It is like the cats are seeing it for the first time. Change the ball when it gets fuzzy. Having bought all the USA hand made cat toys I can find, and some safe foreign toys, this toy is the most exciting every day. GREAT BUY. Is a toy you and cats play with with together. I would not leave unattended cats will naturally eat the string.

I was super excited to find this product. My cat doesn't like feathers or bells on his teasers. Sadly, though he loved it, he tore through the string in 2 days. Took a risk on an expensive item but needs a nylon based string for my cat. It is otherwise extremely well made.

It is a good rod but the ball at the end came off after a few weeks. Price is too high for what it is .

The handle is very comfortable--you don't get hand fatigue. My cats found it "okay"--they didn't chase it the way the do with the two piece Jackson Galaxy wand.

Expensive, but clearly my cat's favorite toy. I have to put it away while not using or he will drag it around and chew up the felt ball. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I’ve purchased several cat wands over the years but this one is definitely the best. The ball is small so catching it isn’t too terribly easy, and bc it’s such a small target it excites her all the more. The wood does not bend,and the string is sturdy so I have zero fears of either snapping while playing. It’s definitely her favorite toy. If you have a little beast that destroys wands this one will give them a run for their money.
