Hisoo 2 Pack LED Light Engine Retrofit Kit, 6inch 24W 2200Lm, 3CCT 3000K/4000K/5000K Dimmable, Ceiling Fan Kits, for Light, Pendant, Lantern

I installed this in a ceiling fan that had a halogen 100W light. The brightness is similar. I removed the old lamp hardware and fitted this LED unit with a few pieces of hardware into the housing. It took about 15 minutes to modify, not counting driving to the hardware store. It directly wires to a 120V source. No adapter or anything else required. The modification required for your fixture will vary, but I am running it and it looks good. There is a three position switch that selects the color temperature. I chose the middle setting. It works ok with the fan's old dimming control except at very low levels where it sometimes flickers. 3/4 of the dimming range it works perfect. The last time I replaced the Halogen light bulb it was $10. This cost about $18 even with the added hardware, it uses 1/4 of the electricity and runs WAY COOLER.

Thees lights are bright and easy to install if you’re competent and comfortable with simple wiring. I retrofitted two halogen light fixtures with domed lenses whose bulbs were rated at 150 watts when they were new five years ago. I gutted the old innards, and these LED pucks just popped in and are well-held in place by their magnets. These LED lights are brighter than the old halogen bulbs, and the color balance is perfect for our closet. Dimming is good too. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this product!

Magnets hold module very well, installation very simple, and light is very bright. Installed in 4 ceiling fans that used incandescent bulbs. Prior to installing these lights, lights were extremely dim, even when using led screw in bulbs. Now I do not need additional lighting to see paperwork, etc. I highly recommend these replacement lights. Update on original review: I still love the lights but one went out after only 8 months. This light is in the office and not on most of the time. The seller should send a replacement but I can't find a way to contact them. Additional update 08/29/2024: Seller contracted me and is sending a replacement. Great customer service and great product.

It was good when it was working. But as of a few days ago, this LED and the other pair just died out. I bought another highly rated one listed here to replace it. When it was working, it was quite bright and fairly straightforward to install. I had it in a ceiling fan. When one was starting to go out, it was flickering. The other one straight up stopped working. Checking out the flickering one, I noticed it was really dim because it over half of the LEDs was not lighting up. This one failed probably due to the connection in the selector switch. The one that outright died looks like the LED driver died. Value for money? Yeah, It was worth the less than $30 for both of them, even though it only lasted exactly two years. Fortunately I installed it, rather than an electrician

This is a BEAUTIFUL swap for a domed ceiling fan. (Just make sure it will fit, it's pretty big). It slips up onto the fan's threaded rod easily. I would have given it 5 stars for Installation if it came with a nut to hold it on the rod. The magnets are useless in my fan. It is very very bright, and it dims nicely with my ceiling fan, where I have had dimming problems with lots of other LED bulbs. This one dims really well. The three color are nice, I use the middle one because my fan also has a warm uplight but otherwise I'd use the warm color. It is full brightness regardless of color. I don't know how long it will last and I'm skeptical about cheap products like this, but the price was great and the light is great so even if it doesn't last years I'm happy.

We replaced the LED lights in pretty ceiling lights that were too dim for the room. Instead of tossing the lights we tried to use this kit to replace the LED unit. It installed in minutes and gives a lovely bright light. Very happy with the purchase, it is a great idea and worked well!!

I purchased these to do a retrofit in an existing housing that had standard bulb sockets in it, and the first 6 months, they worked as described. After the 6 months was up though, every now and then, the light would flicker just for a few seconds, and only on some of the strings, then it would stop. Eventually it would just flicker for minutes on end which was really irritating. Finally, after another 6 months of flickering, half of the lights went out, it was not very bright at all and I replaced it with recessed lighting. When I pulled it down, I noticed two things, first, the resistor you see in the image was no longer soldered to the board, and second, the glue around the wires has burnt due to just how hot this light actually gets. I'm very happy to get this hazard out of my house and will never purchase again.
