Darn good 300w sub plate amp. Not rated for 2-ohms (it should be, drives 2-ohm loads with ease)
Specs seem to be under rated. Or dead on with 300w + plenty of headroom.- THD is low enough. The amplifier sounds clean and "all there"- No mounting screws- "0.5 watts" idle power stamped on the plate. Nice. I think that means when it is in "AUTO"- Very light weight...a plus for small 8" or 10" cabinetsUPDATE (14 Oct 2023)- bought another one for a custom box with a 15" Skar Audio VFX-15 D4 (1,500w RMS sub) wired for 2 ohms. This amplifier is NOT rated for 2-ohms (it should be). Power delivery is even BETTER at 2-ohms. It pushes that 15" solidly with ease...GREAT output. IMHO (nothing scientific), prob delivers 500-550w into a 2 ohm load.Been working with audio, stereos, installs, subs, music industry for 45 years. This amplifier does a very good job for the price...good for 12" and below 4 ohm subs. With my 10" build, it shakes & fills the living room nicely. Solid buy. I bought two more for future builds and replacements

good replacement
I had an old expensive subwoofer in my system. When it broke I was debating sending it for repair, which seems to be ridiculous expensive. A newer model would be even more expensive. Since the problem was with the electronic I also did not want to waste the chassis and the speaker itself. So I stumbled over this subwoofer plate amplifier. Since this one is only a fraction of the cost as any other options I had, I gave it a try. By simply removing the old amplifier and mounting the new one ( needs a small frame I built ) it worked like a charm. Even with the 300W rating it creates a lot of clear sounding bass. This is a perfect replacement when you are on a low budget. It has all the knobs you need to tune and integrate it into your audio system. Requires a bit calibration to seamlessly work in your audio setup. It runs also from 120-240 Volts in case you live in Europe. I'm a happy customer now, every penny well spent.

It's okay 👍🏼
My old Polk Audio dual 10" sub dies, I needed an amp to replace my dead one. This did okay, not really loud as I thought or hoped. I have a 12" polk audio rated at 150w rms that amp sounds loader and cleaner than this "300 RMS" I think you need to drop to 2 ohms to maybe get a little more out of it.But the amp still works after several months. I'm thinking of replacing it with a 1000w from a different brand in the future.4 stars is fair since is as advertised.

Quite possibly better than the OE amp.
Have a Polk Audio PSW505 who's amp let out the blue smoke. A powerful sub that i didn't want to kick to the curb just yet. Bought this amp and made an ABS adapter plate and installed on my 505. The stats on this are less than the factory amp but swear it has more, cleaner power than OE. Sounds great and even rattles the glasses in the wet bar nearby during powerful movie scenes.

A LOT of bass (once it finally got here).
Got this today, as a replacement for a blown amp on a 17 year old REL T2. Had a lot of time waiting, so I already had a 1" thick back fitted to the cabinet.. Installed amp, and spent a bit of time getting it set up with KEF LSX powered speakers. Did not need the +6 boost at 30hz. Used the KEF app to adjust the x-over points and any trim. WAY more bass than the REL "200 watt" amp. High pass at 70hz; low pass at 65. +1 on bass boost (+2-10 just not needed). That was it, so far. Sounded good! Plug & play, basically. Now, complaints...I ordered this 9 days ago. I am not complaining about not getting 1 day shipping, or 2 day shipping. And I understand that things can go awry. But all last week, Amazon was still advertising "2 day shipping" on this unit. I theoretically could have re-ordered it on Wednesday, received it Friday, and just sent back this unit when it came in (the following Monday). It appears they were promising to new customers while reneging on deals with existing customers. 2 chats yielded promises to "expedite" the order, but that didn't happen. I hope nothing goes wrong with this amp, because I don't want to go into Amazon shipping hell again.Update after a couple of days…on some modern pop, too much bass at +1. Rock, blues, most jazz great. Reggae 👍. Organ music is big, and low volume anything is good. I can adjust on the fly for pieces with too much bass, so thumbs up on the amp.Update 2 weeks later...still too much bass, so -2 on the volume, high pass still at 70hz, but low pass at 60hz. Sounds very good! One last comment, one month in…the Auto On/Off is slow to come on if the music is quiet-ish or lacking much bass. I now leave it On all the time; instructions say that’s costing me 8.5 watts. This seems like something that should be properly engineered out by now.

When you need to dig deep
Plenty of power when your subs need to dig deep. Adjustable settings on sub levels. Don't get hot and auto turn on.
