Durable and comfy
I realize these haven't been sold in a while, but for whatever it's worth now, I bought mine in 2018 and am only now replacing them. Second to bed, I'm in my computer chair most of the day, and longer on weekends. Hardcore gamer and avid media consumer, my chair has to be comfy, and I eventually wore the heck out of these pads. Washed the outer sleeve a few times, put the pad back in, repeat. Exceptional durability for the price, shame I can't buy another pair, they were absolute worth it.

Purchased these for my DxRacer and they work.
I just recently upgraded my chair to a DxRacer Iron Series Office chair. I used to have and an ergo office chair which was great except that it was a bit small and for sitting in it more than a few hours my bottom would hurt. So I got the DxRacer because they are well known for endurance of comfort for exceedingly long periods. The chair is great except for one thing. The bloody arm rests are like freaking concrete. So I elected to get some arm rest pads for the chair.Did some looking around and nothing quite stood out to me except these to fit that didn't cost something ridiculous. I will have to say that this are very comfortable, well made and get the job done. Only one negative thing really. I think your listed dimensions are inaccurate. They are more like 9.5 inches long, 4.8 inches wide and about 1.1 inches thick of the pad itself. The skirt could be more of what it claims but still, not accurate. They do overall fit my arm rests so I am more or less satisfied, no more pain, just comfort. Hopefully they withstand the test of time. I would recommend these to any DxRacer user or any similar since the awkwardness of the arm rests.

Straps broke off easily. Raises arms too high. Otherwise would be comfortable.
The straps broke off the first pad I tried to fit onto my chair arms as I stretched them around the arm. I guess I pulled too hard but they do have a very weak attachment point (see photo). The skirt was not long enough to stretch onto my 14" office chair arms, but I expect that might be the case. Some measurements listed in the description would be helpful. The main issue for me is that they are too thick and end up raising my arms to an uncomfortable level. Even when depressed with my elbows, my arms are still at least an inch higher than normal. I just wanted a little padding so that I don't feel the cracked fake leather of my old chair arms, but this is too much. If, however, your aim is to raise the height of your arms on your chair, these are perfect. The foam padding is very nice. Not too soft, not too hard. They are covered with a felt material that may be too warm in the summer, but is not scratchy and very soft. Underneath the pads is a nice non-slip rubbery material with bumps. So even without the straps and the skirt, they actually stay on my fake-leather chair arms pretty nicely without sliding off.Pretty good product, minus the weakness of the straps, but not for me because of the height it adds.

Thick pads, adjustable fit
The old plastic arms on my desk chair were cracked and uncomfortable. These pads fit nicely on top and provide a soft, comfortable rest for my arms.I was concerned about the fit; I thought the cover just stretched over the old arms and would hold tight. However the pads include a pair of stretchy straps (front and rear) with Velcro adjustments that wrap around the old arm. Tightening these straps made for a tight fit that does slip when I move my arm.The pads are much thicker than I had expected. I was able to lower the arms on my chair to compensate, but if I didn’t have height-adjustable arms, the pads would probably be too high to be comfortable. The pad is made of a dense foam. It provides support while typing, not soft like you’d want on an easy chair. The cover seems ok, not great quality, but should last a couple of years.Overall, it’s saved me from having to replace an older $200 swivel chair, so probably a good investment.

Pros- Very comfortable! The foam cushions very well and almost completely eliminates pressure points. Very secure fit and customizeable to many different sizes. I’ve been using the pads heavily for 1 1/2 weeks and I feel the quality is very good and expect a long life out of them.Cons- in warmer climates these heat up very fast and cause a minimal amount of discomfort, i.e. my arms sweat a little bit. If the arm rests on your chair are 3D (3 directional) or 4D, the foam, for a small time, will remember the shape of your arm and “lock” you into that position. With the 3D/4D this will cause the horizontal in and out swivel of the arm rest to unintentionally move which can be annoying.Over all the cons don’t outweigh the pros. It was way more important to eliminate pressure points and have a softer pad for my forearms. These are worth the price being asked and do the job they were created for well.

Much better than another pair I bought
Update 2019: We needed armrest covers for a second chair so I bought them again. After nearly daily use for 12 hours a day for 18 months, the armrests did become flatter and lose much of their cushion but the fabric held up extremely well. Given the beating that I give these armrests each day, they have done extremely well. I am putting the new covers on the chair I use the most and moving the old covers to a chair that gets far less use.2017:So wide, thick and soft! Much better than another pair I bought. These slipped over my chair's arms with no need for velcro straps. The arms were 10.5 inches long. I doubt they would fit over anything more than 11.5 inches long. Unlike other arm pads I tried, the foam on these do not rapidly sink, providing a soft yet firm platform. The ample 5-inch width means that when your arm is bent, both the elbow and forearm have enough space to comfortably rest. With my arm resting on the pad, they do not move at all.
