There isn't much more satisfying than grinding up my own spices. It is very sturdy, just the right size, it has held up to moderate use, and it is attractive.Try grinding your favorite flaky salt with fresh black pepper and putting it on popcorn. Life changing.

I’d been using a small mortar & pestle set and finally decided to upgrade. This is a really nice set. Great size and quality. I love the weight of the pestle. The wood base is also a great option. This is definitely worth it if it’s something you use regularly.

It came package just as described and it is the best mortar and pestle I’ve ever owned. It is well worth the money. I line that it doesn’t slide around in my counter top and the weight of it makes it sturdy to grind spices with. I highly recommend purchasing this it is so worth the price.

I didn’t look closely enough when I ordered this thing. I liked the design of it but it’s not at all small. I didn’t realize how ginormous this thing is. I’m sure it’s a nice decor piece but it weighs 9 million pounds and is enormous. I was still able to use it to grind stuff but it could probably hold 2 full cups of unground spices? So don’t order this if you want a small thing to stick in the cupboard
